وبحسب صحيفة «موندو ديبورتيفو» الإسبانية، فإن برشلونة بات قريباً من ضم اللاعب، إذ من المتوقع أن يلتحق بفريق الرديف في يناير القادم، في حال سارت المفاوضات كما هو مخطط لها.

وأوضحت الصحيفة أن فريق الرديف في برشلونة يعاني من غيابات كثيرة في الخط الأمامي، ما دفع النادي لتسريع خطواته لإتمام الصفقة خلال سوق الشتاء.

وشارك عبد الكريم مع منتخب مصر في كأس العالم تحت 17 عاماً في نوفمبر الماضي، حيث سجل هدفين في مرمى هايتي وفنزويلا.
وبحسب تقارير الكشافين، يتمتع اللاعب بحضور قوي داخل منطقة الجزاء، ويُعد مهاجماً صريحاً كلاسيكياً يمتاز بدقة التسديد وقدرته على استغلال الفرص.
