استعاد فريق ليفربول نغمة الانتصارات في الدوري الإنجليزي بفوزه على ضيفه أستون فيلا بهدفين مقابل هدف، في المباراة التي أقيمت مساء (السبت) على ملعب «أنفيلد» ضمن منافسات الجولة العاشرة.
دخل ليفربول المباراة مثقلاً بأربعة هزائم متتالية في البريميرليغ، لكن الانتصار أعاده بقوة لسباق المنافسة على الصدارة.

افتتح محمد صلاح التسجيل في الدقيقة 45+1 بعد خطأ فادح من حارس أستون فيلا، إيميليانو مارتينيز، الذي أخطأ في تمرير الكرة فاستغلها النجم المصري بتسديدة مباشرة إلى الشباك.
وسجل ريان جرافنبرخ الهدف الثاني للريدز في الدقيقة 58 من تسديدة قوية من على حدود منطقة الجزاء، اصطدمت بأحد مدافعي أستون فيلا وسكنت الشباك، ليؤمن فوز ليفربول.
بهذا الانتصار، رفع ليفربول رصيده إلى 18 نقطة في المركز الثالث بجدول ترتيب الدوري الإنجليزي، بينما تجمد رصيد أستون فيلا عند 15 نقطة في المركز الحادي عشر.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring in the 45+1 minute after a grave mistake by Aston Villa's goalkeeper, Emiliano Martínez, who misplayed the ball, allowing the Egyptian star to capitalize with a direct shot into the net.
Ryan Gravenberch scored the second goal for the Reds in the 58th minute with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area, which deflected off one of Aston Villa's defenders and found the back of the net, securing Liverpool's victory.
With this win, Liverpool raised their points tally to 18, sitting in third place in the English Premier League standings, while Aston Villa's points remained at 15 in eleventh place.
