قاد النجم المصري عمر مرموش فريقه مانشستر سيتي إلى دور ربع النهائي من بطولة كأس الرابطة الإنجليزية (كاراباو)، بعد فوزه على مضيفه سوانزي سيتي بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف، في المباراة التي أقيمت مساء أمس (الأربعاء).
افتتح غونسالو فرانكو التهديف لصالح سوانزي سيتي بعد 12 دقيقة فقط من انطلاق اللقاء، لكن جيريمي دوكو أدرك التعادل في الدقيقة 39، لينتهي الشوط الأول بالتعادل 1-1.
مرموش يعود بقوة ويسجل
وفي الشوط الثاني، فرض مانشستر سيتي هيمنته على اللقاء، وتمكن النجم المصري عمر مرموش من تسجيل الهدف الثاني لمانشستر سيتي في الدقيقة 77، ليؤكد عودته القوية بعد تعافيه من الإصابة واستعادة حسّه التهديفي.
وفي الوقت بدل الضائع (90+3)، اختتم ريان شرقي ثلاثية الفريق السماوي ليؤمّن عبور فريقه إلى دور ربع النهائي.
ويستعد مانشستر سيتي لمواجهة بورنموث، الأحد القادم، على ملعب «الاتحاد»، ضمن منافسات الجولة العاشرة من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.
