انتظر روما حتى الدقيقة 63 ليسجل أول أهداف اللقاء برأسية من إيرموسو، قبل أن يضاعف دوفبيك تقدم «الذئاب» بهدف ثانٍ في الدقيقة 81.
وقلّص أليساندرو سيركاتي الفارق لصالح بارما قبل أربع دقائق من نهاية الوقت الأصلي، لكن الوقت لم يكن كافياً لإدراك التعادل، لتنتهي المباراة بفوز مستحق لأصحاب الأرض.

بهذه النتيجة، رفع روما رصيده إلى 21 نقطة في المركز الثاني بجدول ترتيب الدوري الإيطالي، متأخراً بفارق الأهداف عن نابولي المتصدر.
في المقابل، تجمد رصيد بارما عند 7 نقاط في المركز الـ15، بعد فشل الفريق في تحقيق الفوز للمباراة الرابعة على التوالي، وبفارق نقطتين فقط عن منطقة الهبوط.
