ردَّ هانز فليك، مدرب برشلونة، على الشائعات التي تحدثت عن تدخل إدارة النادي لإشراك نجم الفريق لامين يامال أمام باريس سان جيرمان في دوري أبطال أوروبا، رغم عدم التزام اللاعب بموعد التدريب.
كانت تقارير صحفية ذكرت أن يامال تأخّر عن اجتماعٍ تحضيري لمباراة باريس سان جيرمان، وأن فليك قرر – حرصاً على الانضباط داخل غرفة الملابس – عدم إشراكه أساسياً، إلا أن ضغط الإدارة أعاده إلى التشكيلة الأساسية.
وفي المؤتمر الصحفي الذي سبق مباراة جيرونا، نفى المدرب الألماني شائعة تأخر يامال التي وصفها بـ«الكاذبة»، حيث قال: «أريد أن أعرف من أين جاءوا بهذا الكلام! لم يوجه لي ديكو ولا أي شخص في النادي أي حديث بهذا الشأن، لديهم ثقة كبيرة في عملي، ولن يطلبوا مني أي شيء، ليس لدي ما أخفيه، وإذا قال أحد هذا، فهو يكذب».
يامال يتعرض لانتكاسة
وكان نادي برشلونة أعلن في الثالث من أكتوبر الجاري تجدد إصابة نجمه الشاب لامين يامال بعد فترة قصيرة من تعافيه.
وقال النادي الإسباني في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني: «عادت إصابة لامين يامال في الفخذ بعد مباراة باريس سان جيرمان، ومن المتوقع أن يستغرق تعافيه ما بين أسبوعين إلى ثلاثة».
Hans Flick, the coach of Barcelona, responded to rumors about the club's management intervening to include the team's star Lamine Yamal against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League, despite the player's failure to attend training on time.
Reports had indicated that Yamal was late for a preparatory meeting for the match against Paris Saint-Germain, and that Flick decided – in order to maintain discipline in the locker room – not to include him in the starting lineup, but the pressure from management brought him back into the starting formation.
In the press conference prior to the Girona match, the German coach denied the rumor of Yamal's tardiness, which he described as "false," saying: "I want to know where they got this information! Deco or anyone else at the club has not said anything to me about this matter; they have great confidence in my work, and they will not ask me for anything. I have nothing to hide, and if someone says this, they are lying."
Yamal Faces Setback
Barcelona announced on October 3 that their young star Lamine Yamal had suffered a recurrence of his injury shortly after recovering.
The Spanish club stated in a release on its website: "Lamine Yamal's thigh injury has returned after the match against Paris Saint-Germain, and it is expected that his recovery will take between two to three weeks."
