أعلن نادي برشلونة الإسباني، أمس (الأربعاء)، تجديد عقد نجمه الهولندي فرينكي دي يونغ، في إطار خطته للاحتفاظ بعناصره الأساسية.
وقال النادي الكتالوني في بيان على موقعه الإلكتروني: «جدد لاعب خط الوسط فرينكي دي يونغ عقده مع نادي برشلونة حتى عام 2029، ووقع الهولندي عقده الجديد مع الرئيس خوان لابورتا في المقر الرئيسي للنادي الأربعاء».
وكان دي يونغ قد انضم إلى برشلونة صيف 2019 قادماً من أياكس أمستردام الهولندي، في صفقة قُدرت بنحو 86 مليون يورو.
ومنذ انضمامه إلى صفوف «البلوغرانا»، خاض دي يونغ 267 مباراة في مختلف المسابقات، سجل خلالها 19 هدفاً، وقدم 24 تمريرة حاسمة، وساهم في تتويج فريقه بـ6 ألقاب محلية.
FC Barcelona announced yesterday (Wednesday) the renewal of their Dutch star Frenkie de Jong's contract as part of their plan to retain their key players.
The Catalan club stated on their website: "Midfielder Frenkie de Jong has renewed his contract with FC Barcelona until 2029, and the Dutchman signed his new contract with president Joan Laporta at the club's headquarters on Wednesday."
De Jong joined Barcelona in the summer of 2019 from Ajax Amsterdam for a fee estimated at around 86 million euros.
Since joining the ranks of the "Blaugrana," De Jong has played 267 matches in various competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 24 assists, contributing to his team's 6 domestic titles.
