تشهد المجموعة الثالثة للتصفيات الأفريقية المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026 لقاءات مثيرة يوم الجمعة القادم، بعد أن تبعثرت الأوراق بقرار من الاتحاد الأفريقي الذي قرر خسارة منتخب جنوب أفريقيا من ليسوتو بسبب إشراكه لاعباً موقوفاً.
ولا توجد أي فرصة لحسم سباق المجموعة في الجولة التاسعة، بعد أن تصدر منتخب بنين المجموعة برصيد 14 نقطة، متفوقاً على جنوب أفريقيا، صاحب الرصيد نفسه بالمواجهات المباشرة، ويأتي منتخب نيجيريا ثالثاً برصيد 11 نقطة بفارق الأهداف أمام الرابع منتخب رواندا، وبذلك سيكون الحسم في الجولة الأخيرة.
ويحلّ منتخب بنين المتصدر ضيفاً ثقيلاً على منتخب رواندا الساعي لاستغلال عاملي الأرض والجمهور لإنعاش حظوظه في التأهل، بينما يلتقي منتخب نيجيريا بمضيفه منتخب ليسوتو في لقاء يصب لمصلحة الضيوف، فيما يلتقي منتخب جنوب أفريقيا بمضيفه زيمبابوي بحثاً عن استعادة الصدارة وتجديد الآمال بخطف بطاقة التأهل للمونديال.

The third group of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup will witness exciting matches next Friday, after the cards were reshuffled by a decision from the African Union, which ruled that the South African team lost to Lesotho due to the inclusion of a suspended player.
There is no chance to settle the group race in the ninth round, after the Benin team topped the group with 14 points, surpassing South Africa, which has the same points based on direct encounters. Nigeria comes in third with 11 points, ahead of fourth-placed Rwanda on goal difference, thus the final decision will be made in the last round.
