أعلن نادي توتنهام الإنجليزي، اليوم (الجمعة)، تجديد عقد لاعبه رودريغو بينتانكور، في إطار سعيه للحفاظ على عناصر الفريق الأساسية.
وأوضح النادي، في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني، أن بينتانكور وقع على عقد جديد طويل الأمد، دون الكشف عن مزيد من التفاصيل.
من جانبه، أعرب بينتانكور عن سعادته بالتجديد، قائلاً: «أشعر بحالة جيدة جداً، وسعيد للغاية بمواصلة مسيرتي مع هذا النادي الرائع، عائلتي سعيدة، ولدي أصدقاء وزملاء رائعون يعملون بجد كل يوم. أحب هذا النادي وأشعر بالراحة هنا».
وأضاف: «الفوز بلقب الدوري الأوروبي كان لحظة مميزة، ونسعى للبناء عليها من أجل تحقيق المزيد من البطولات. لدينا مدرب جديد وقائد جديد، وأتطلع للاستمتاع بمواسم عديدة أخرى بقميص توتنهام».
ومنذ انضمامه إلى توتنهام قادماً من يوفنتوس في يناير 2022، خاض اللاعب، البالغ من العمر 28 عاماً، 122 مباراة مع الفريق، سجل خلالها 9 أهداف.
The English club Tottenham announced today (Friday) the renewal of its player Rodrigo Bentancur's contract, as part of its efforts to retain the core elements of the team.
The club clarified in a statement on its website that Bentancur has signed a new long-term contract, without disclosing further details.
For his part, Bentancur expressed his happiness with the renewal, saying: "I feel very good, and I am extremely happy to continue my journey with this wonderful club. My family is happy, and I have great friends and teammates who work hard every day. I love this club and feel comfortable here."
He added: "Winning the Europa League title was a special moment, and we aim to build on it to achieve more trophies. We have a new coach and a new captain, and I look forward to enjoying many more seasons in the Tottenham shirt."
Since joining Tottenham from Juventus in January 2022, the 28-year-old player has played 122 matches for the team, scoring 9 goals.
