كشف مهاجم مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي النجم النرويجي إيرلينغ هالاند، عن هواجسه الشخصية ومخاوفه من الموت والمصير المجهول بعد الحياة.
وقال هالاند في مقابلة مع شبكة «إن آر كيه» النرويجية: «إنه أمرٌ مخيف بعض الشيء عندما أستلقي على السرير قبل النوم وأفكر: ماذا سيحدث يوم وفاتي؟ هل سأذهب إلى الجنة؟ هل سأذهب إلى الجحيم؟ إلى أين سأذهب؟».
وفاة صديق مقرّب تترك أثراً عميقاً
وعن وفاة صديقه المقرّب إيفار إيغا، الذي رحل عن عمر يناهز 59 عاماً بعد مرض مفاجئ، قال هالاند: «كيف سأستوعب الأمر؟ من المحزن أنه لم يعد هنا، كنا نسخر من بعض طوال الوقت، سأفتقده طوال حياتي».
وأضاف النجم النرويجي: «تحدثتُ إليه قبل وفاته مباشرة، وقال لي «اخرج وحطم كل شيء في الملعب»، أراد لي أن أعيش أفضل حياتي حتى بدونه، لم يُرِد لي أن أسقط أرضاً وأحزن».
يُذكر أن هالاند يتصدر قائمة اللاعبين الأعلى أجراً في الدوري الإنجليزي، إذ يتقاضى راتباً أسبوعياً يبلغ 400 ألف جنيه إسترليني.

Haaland said in an interview with the Norwegian network "NRK": "It's a bit scary when I lie in bed before sleeping and think: What will happen on the day of my death? Will I go to heaven? Will I go to hell? Where will I go?"
The death of a close friend leaves a deep impact
Regarding the death of his close friend Ivar Iga, who passed away at the age of 59 after a sudden illness, Haaland said: "How will I come to terms with it? It's sad that he is no longer here; we used to tease each other all the time. I will miss him for the rest of my life."
The Norwegian star added: "I spoke to him just before he passed away, and he told me, 'Go out and smash everything on the pitch.' He wanted me to live my best life even without him; he didn't want me to fall to the ground and be sad."
It is worth noting that Haaland tops the list of the highest-paid players in the English Premier League, earning a weekly salary of £400,000.
