أعلن الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم (يويفا) إيقاف ظهير ريال مدريد الأيمن داني كارفاخال، مباراتين، بعد طرده في مواجهة مارسيليا ضمن الجولة الافتتاحية من دوري أبطال أوروبا.
وتلقى كارفاخال بطاقة حمراء خلال المباراة، بعد أن نطح الحارس جيرونيمو رولي في مشاجرة محتدمة وقعت في الدقيقة 72 على ملعب «سانتياغو برنابيو».
وسيغيب كارفاخال عن مواجهة كايرات ألماتي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، في أولى مباريات العقوبة، وهي غيابات غير مؤثرة عملياً، نظراً لإصابة اللاعب وابتعاده عن الملاعب لمدة شهر.
وكشف ريال مدريد الأحد الماضي، إصابة كارفاخال في العضلة النعلية (عضلة باطن الساق) اليمنى، ما يزيد من معاناة الفريق في مركز الظهير الأيمن، خصوصاً في ظل غياب البديل ألكسندر أرنولد للإصابة أيضاً.
The European Football Association (UEFA) announced the suspension of Real Madrid's right-back Dani Carvajal for two matches after he was sent off in the match against Marseille during the opening round of the Champions League.
Carvajal received a red card during the match after headbutting goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli in a heated altercation that occurred in the 72nd minute at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium.
Carvajal will miss the match against Kairat Almaty today (Tuesday), which is the first match of his suspension, and these absences are practically insignificant due to the player's injury and his absence from the pitch for a month.
Last Sunday, Real Madrid revealed that Carvajal had an injury to the right soleus muscle (calf muscle), which further complicates the team's situation at the right-back position, especially with the absence of substitute Alexander Arnold due to injury as well.
