وبحسب شبكة «بي بي سي» البريطانية، وقّع 48 رياضياً على عريضة تدعو «يويفا» إلى تعليق مشاركة إسرائيل فوراً في جميع المسابقات، حتى «تلتزم بالقانون الدولي وتتوقف عن استهداف المدنيين» في غزة.
ومن أبرز الموقعين النجم الفرنسي بول بوغبا، بطل كأس العالم 2018، ولاعب وسط كريستال بالاس شيخ دوكوري، إلى جانب أسماء لامعة في الرياضة، منهم جناح تشيلسي السابق المغربي حكيم زياش، وقائد إيبسويتش تاون السابق المصري سام مرسي، إضافة إلى نجم الكريكيت الإنجليزي السابق معين علي.
موقف الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم
تقارير صحفية أكدت أن «يويفا» يدرس التصويت على تعليق عضوية إسرائيل. ووفقاً لوكالة «أسوشيتد برس»، فإن غالبية أعضاء اللجنة التنفيذية البالغ عددهم 20 عضواً، يميلون لدعم التصويت لصالح استبعاد الفرق والمنتخبات الإسرائيلية من البطولات الأوروبية.

تأتي هذه الخطوة في ظل تصاعد الضغوط السياسية والشعبية في أوروبا، حيث تتوسع حملات التضامن مع الفلسطينيين في مجالات الفن والرياضة والثقافة، وسط مطالبات بفرض عقوبات رياضية مماثلة لتلك التي طُبقت على روسيا بعد غزو أوكرانيا.
Calls within European sports circles have increased to suspend Israel's membership in the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and exclude its teams and national squads from continental tournaments, against the backdrop of the ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip.

According to the British BBC network, 48 athletes have signed a petition urging UEFA to immediately suspend Israel's participation in all competitions until it "complies with international law and stops targeting civilians" in Gaza.
Among the notable signatories are French star Paul Pogba, the 2018 World Cup champion, and Crystal Palace midfielder Cheikhou Kouyaté, along with prominent names in sports, including former Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech from Morocco, former Ipswich Town captain Sam Morsy from Egypt, and former English cricket star Moeen Ali.
UEFA's Position
Media reports have confirmed that UEFA is considering voting on the suspension of Israel's membership. According to the Associated Press, the majority of the 20 members of the executive committee are inclined to support a vote in favor of excluding Israeli teams and national squads from European tournaments.
