ابتدع الإسباني لويس انريكي مدرب باريس سان جيرمان أسلوباً جديداً في قيادة فريقه عندما اختار متابعة مباراة باريس سان جيرمان أمام أتلانتا الإيطالي من المدرجات بدلاً من التواجد قريباً من لاعبيه على دكة الاحتياط.
ونجح باريس سان جيرمان في الفوز برباعية نظيفة في افتتاح حملة دفاعه عن لقبه كبطل لدوري أبطال أوروبا، لكن الحدث الأبرز في المباراة لم يكن رباعية بطل فرنسا، بل اتجهت الأنظار نحو المدرب الإسباني إنريكي الذي تواجد في المدرجات بجوار فريق التحليل الخاص بالنادي الباريسي، في خطوة ذكّرت المتابعين بمدربي كرة الرجبي قبل أن ينزل إنريكي إلى مقاعد البدلاء في شوط المباراة الثاني.
وتحدث مدرب باريس سان جيرمان عن تجربته الجديدة قائلاً :
أردت رؤية المواقف من منظور جديد مثلما يفعل المدربون في رياضة الرجبي.. لقد كانت مشاهدة الشوط الأول من المدرجات فرصة رائعة، وأتاحت لي مراقبة كل جانب من جوانب لعبنا، لذا عدت إلى غرفة الملابس بين الشوطين بفهم أكبر بكثير.
وتابع: يصبح لدي الكثير من المعلومات التي يمكن استخدامها بين الشوطين، والأمر مهم بالنسبة لي.. اللاعبون كذلك معتادون على مساعد المدرب رافائيل بول ويمكنه أن ينقل لهم الأمور التي أراها من المدرجات.
هل هي ثورة في عالم التدريب أم لفت أنظار؟

The Spanish coach Luis Enrique of Paris Saint-Germain has created a new approach to leading his team by choosing to watch the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Italian Atalanta from the stands instead of being close to his players on the bench.

I wanted to see situations from a new perspective, just like rugby coaches do... Watching the first half from the stands was a great opportunity, and it allowed me to observe every aspect of our play, so I returned to the locker room at halftime with a much greater understanding.
He continued: I have a lot of information that can be used between the halves, and that is important for me... The players are also used to assisting coach Rafael Paul, and he can convey to them the things I see from the stands.
