يسعى النجم المصري محمد صلاح، لاعب ليفربول الإنجليزي، لتحقيق إنجاز تاريخي جديد، عندما يواجه فريقه نظيره أتلتيكو مدريد الإسباني، اليوم (الأربعاء).
ويستضيف ليفربول فريق أتلتيكو مدريد على ملعب «أنفيلد» في تمام العاشرة مساءً بتوقيت مكة المكرمة، ضمن منافسات الجولة الافتتاحية من دوري أبطال أوروبا.
وفي حال مشاركة صلاح في مباراة اليوم، سيصبح ثاني أكثر اللاعبين مشاركة في دوري أبطال أوروبا بقميص ليفربول بشكل منفرد، متفوقاً على ستيفن جيرارد، أسطورة الفريق، الذي يملك حالياً العدد نفسه من المباريات الأوروبية (73 مباراة) إلى جانب صلاح.
رقم قياسي جديد في الأفق
وخلال هذا الموسم، ستكون أمام صلاح فرصة لتخطي الرقم القياسي المُسجل باسم جيمي كاراغر، الذي خاض 80 مباراة في دوري الأبطال مع ليفربول.
ويتطلب من صلاح المشاركة في جميع مباريات دور المجموعات الثماني المنتظرة لتحقيق هذا الإنجاز.
يُذكر أن محمد صلاح هو الهداف التاريخي لليفربول في دوري أبطال أوروبا، إذ سجل 44 هدفاً في 73 مباراة، متفوقاً على جميع من ارتدى قميص «الريدز» في المسابقة القارية.
