أعلنت رابطة الدوري الإنجليزي، أمس (الجمعة)، فوز جاك غريليش، لاعب إيفرتون، بجائزة أفضل لاعب في البريميرليغ عن شهر أغسطس الماضي.
وذكرت الرابطة عبر موقعها الإلكتروني، أن غريليش، المعار من مانشستر سيتي إلى إيفرتون، نال الجائزة للمرة الأولى في مسيرته الاحترافية.
وتصدر جناح «التوفيز»، الذي أتم الثلاثين من عمره هذا الأسبوع، قائمة صُنّاع الأهداف في الدوري خلال أغسطس، بعدما قدم 4 تمريرات حاسمة، وهو ضعف ما قدمه أي لاعب آخر في المسابقة خلال الفترة ذاتها.
سلوت أفضل مدرب
وفي فئة المدربين، فاز الهولندي آرني سلوت، المدير الفني لليفربول، بجائزة أفضل مدرب عن شهر أغسطس، بعدما قاد فريقه لتحقيق العلامة الكاملة في أول 3 جولات من الموسم.
وتُعد هذه المرة الثانية التي يحرز فيها سلوت الجائزة، بعد أن تُوج بها للمرة الأولى في نوفمبر 2024، خلال موسمه الأول في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.
«صاروخية سوبوسلاي» أفضل هدف
أما جائزة أفضل هدف في شهر أغسطس، فكانت من نصيب المجري دومينيك سوبوسلاي، لاعب ليفربول، عن هدفه المميز في شباك أرسنال.
وجاء الهدف من تسديدة صاروخية من مسافة 30 ياردة، تجاوزت الحائط البشري واستقرت في الزاوية العليا اليمنى للمرمى.
وبهذا الإنجاز، أصبح سوبوسلاي أول لاعب مجري يفوز بإحدى الجوائز الشهرية في تاريخ الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.
The English Premier League announced yesterday (Friday) that Jack Grealish, Everton player, has won the award for Best Player in the Premier League for the month of August.
The league mentioned on its website that Grealish, who is on loan from Manchester City to Everton, has won the award for the first time in his professional career.
The winger for the "Toffees," who turned thirty this week, topped the list of assist providers in the league during August, having provided 4 assists, which is double what any other player contributed in the competition during the same period.
Slot for Best Coach
In the coaching category, Dutchman Arne Slot, the manager of Liverpool, won the award for Best Coach for the month of August after leading his team to a perfect score in the first 3 rounds of the season.
This is the second time Slot has won the award, having first received it in November 2024 during his first season in the Premier League.
“Sublime Soboszlai” for Best Goal
The award for Best Goal in August went to Hungarian Dominik Soboszlai, a Liverpool player, for his outstanding goal against Arsenal.
The goal came from a rocket shot from 30 yards out, which went over the wall and settled in the top right corner of the net.
With this achievement, Soboszlai became the first Hungarian player to win one of the monthly awards in the history of the Premier League.
