أعلن الاتحاد الإثيوبي لكرة القدم تقدّمه بشكوى رسمية لدى الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) ضد نظيره المصري.
وكان منتخب مصر قد حقق فوزاً ثميناً على إثيوبيا بهدفين دون رد، يوم الجمعة الماضي، ضمن منافسات الجولة السابعة من التصفيات الأفريقية المؤهلة إلى كأس العالم 2026.
مخاوف جدية
وأوضح الاتحاد الإثيوبي، في بيان رسمي، أنه قدّم الشكوى إلى «فيفا» عقب ما وصفه بحوادث سوء سلوك وقعت خلال المباراة، التي جمعت المنتخبين مساء الجمعة.
وذكر البيان أن الشكوى الموجهة إلى لجنة الانضباط في الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم تتضمن مخاوف جدية بشأن نقطتين أساسيتين؛ استخدام مؤشرات الليزر من قِبل الجماهير، وعدم احترام النشيد الوطني الإثيوبي من خلال إطلاق هتافات وصيحات استهجان أثناء العزف.

ويتصدر منتخب مصر جدول ترتيب المجموعة الأولى في التصفيات برصيد 19 نقطة، متقدماً بفارق 5 نقاط عن أقرب منافسيه، منتخب بوركينا فاسو صاحب المركز الثاني، فيما يحتل المنتخب الإثيوبي المركز الخامس (قبل الأخير) برصيد 6 نقاط.
ويحتاج المنتخب المصري للفوز على بوركينا فاسو في مباراة الثلاثاء، لحسم التأهل رسمياً إلى كأس العالم 2026، قبل جولتين من نهاية التصفيات.
The Ethiopian Football Federation announced that it has filed an official complaint with the International Football Federation (FIFA) against its Egyptian counterpart.
The Egyptian national team achieved a valuable victory over Ethiopia with a score of two goals to none last Friday, in the seventh round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Serious Concerns
The Ethiopian Federation clarified in an official statement that it submitted the complaint to FIFA following what it described as incidents of misconduct that occurred during the match between the two teams on Friday evening.
The statement mentioned that the complaint directed to the Disciplinary Committee of FIFA includes serious concerns regarding two main points: the use of laser pointers by fans and the disrespect shown to the Ethiopian national anthem through chants and jeers during its performance.
One Step Away from World Cup Dreams
The Egyptian national team leads the standings in Group A of the qualifiers with 19 points, ahead by 5 points from its closest competitor, Burkina Faso, which is in second place, while the Ethiopian team occupies the fifth position (second to last) with 6 points.
The Egyptian team needs to win against Burkina Faso in Tuesday's match to officially secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup, with two rounds remaining in the qualifiers.
