شهدت مباراة ودية في تنزانيا حادثة غريبة بعد أن اضطر الحكم إلى إيقاف اللعب في الدقيقة 77 بسبب سرب من النحل اجتاح أرضية الملعب.
المباراة جمعت بين سيتي إف سي (أبوجا) وجي كي يو إف سي على ملعب كوارا في باباتي، ضمن استعدادات الفريقين للموسم الجديد، قبل أن تتحول إلى مشهد غير معتاد حين سقط اللاعبون، الحكام، والطاقم الفني أرضا لتفادي لسعات النحل.
لم تُعرف الأسباب الدقيقة لظهور النحل في هذا التوقيت، إلا أن البعض أرجعها إلى تقلبات الطقس، بينما أشار آخرون إلى أن الاهتزازات والضوضاء المصاحبة للمباراة ربما تسببت في استثارة الحشرات.
