Manchester United tasted their first victory in the Premier League this season, after a hard-fought and dramatic win against their guest Burnley, with a score of three goals to two, in the match held at their home ground Old Trafford today (Saturday), as part of the third round of the Premier League.

Manchester United's three goals were scored by: Josh Cullen (own goal in the 27th minute), Bryan Mbeumo (57th minute), and Bruno Fernandes (penalty in the 90+7 minute), while Burnley's two goals were scored by: Lyle Foster (55th minute) and Jadon Anthony (66th minute).

The match witnessed a moderate start from both teams, and Manchester managed to score the first goal after a header from Brazilian Casemiro that hit the crossbar, then the ball deflected off Burnley defender Josh Cullen into the net for Manchester's first goal (27th minute). In the second half, Burnley returned to the match through their player Lyle Foster after his teammate Jacob Larsen delivered a cross that Foster struck directly into the Manchester United goal for Burnley's equalizer (55th minute). Just two minutes later, Mbeumo scored Manchester United's second goal after Diogo Dalot delivered a cross into the penalty area, which Mbeumo shot into the net for his team (57th minute). Burnley managed to come back into the match again by scoring their second goal through their player Jadon Anthony (66th minute), but in stoppage time, Manchester United was awarded a penalty, which Bruno Fernandes successfully converted into his team's third goal (90+7 minute), ending the match with Manchester United winning three goals to two.

With this result, Manchester United achieves their first victory in the Premier League for the current season, reaching four points, and they will face their neighbor Manchester City in the next round, while Burnley's points remain at three, and they will host Liverpool in the upcoming round.
