وسجل فيرتز هدفاً في فوز ليفربول على يوكوهاما بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدف، في المباراة التي أقيمت على ملعب «نيسان».
ومنحت الشركة الراعية الوافد الجديد في صفوف ليفربول مبلغ مليون ين ياباني (6.7 ألف دولار تقريباً)، بعد فوزه بجائزة رجل المباراة.
وانضم فيرتز إلى ليفربول خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية قادماً من باير ليفركوزن مقابل 125 مليون يورو، كأغلى صفقة شراء في تاريخ الريدز.
Florian Wirtz, the Liverpool striker, won the Man of the Match award in his team's "friendly" match against Yokohama today (Wednesday), as part of the preparations for the new season.
Wirtz scored a goal in Liverpool's victory over Yokohama, with a score of three goals to one, in the match held at the "Nissan" stadium.
The sponsoring company awarded the new Liverpool signing a sum of one million Japanese yen (approximately $6,700) after he won the Man of the Match award.
Wirtz joined Liverpool during the current summer transfer window from Bayer Leverkusen for 125 million euros, making it the most expensive transfer in the Reds' history.
