أكد تقرير صحفي أن الفرنسي جول كوندي وافق على تمديد عقده مع نادي برشلونة الإسباني.
وكانت تقارير صحفية قد أكدت اهتمام مانشستر سيتي بالتعاقد مع كوندي خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية، بطلب من المدرب الإسباني بيب غوارديولا.
وبحسب صحيفة «ليكيب» الفرنسية، فإن كوندي، الذي يرتبط بعقد حتى عام 2027، وافق على تمديد عقده مع النادي الكتالوني لثلاث سنوات إضافية.
وأضافت الصحيفة أنه تم الانتهاء من جميع الإجراءات اللازمة للإعلان عن تجديد عقد اللاعب، وقد يتم الإعلان عنه رسمياً خلال الجولة الآسيوية.
وأكد كوندي، الذي رفض عدة عروض للبقاء في نادي برشلونة، التزامه بالمشروع الذي بدأه المدرب هانز فليك في النادي الكتالوني، حيث كان اللاعب الأكثر مشاركة في الفريق حتى تعرض لإصابة في أوتار الركبة، مما أبعده عن الملاعب في الفترة الأخيرة من الموسم الماضي.
A press report confirmed that French player Jules Koundé has agreed to extend his contract with Spanish club Barcelona.
Media reports had confirmed Manchester City's interest in signing Koundé during the current summer transfer window, at the request of Spanish coach Pep Guardiola.
According to the French newspaper "L'Équipe," Koundé, who is under contract until 2027, has agreed to extend his contract with the Catalan club for an additional three years.
The newspaper added that all necessary procedures have been completed to announce the player's contract renewal, and it may be officially announced during the Asian tour.
Koundé, who rejected several offers to stay at Barcelona, confirmed his commitment to the project initiated by coach Hans Flick at the Catalan club, where he was the most featured player in the team until he suffered a hamstring injury, which kept him off the pitch in the latter part of last season.
