وأكمل الترجي التونسي بذلك مجموع مباراتي الذهاب والإياب بأربعة مقابل لا شيء، ليكون بذلك الفريق التونسي الوحيد المتأهل في دور المجموعات بعد انسحاب الاتحاد المنستيري، فيما ستقام قرعة الدور القادم يوم 3 نوفمبر في جوهانسبرغ بجنوب أفريقيا.
The Tunisian Esperance Sportive qualified for the group stage of the African Champions League after defeating their Burkinabe guest Rahimo with a score of 3-0 in the second leg of the preliminary round at Rades Stadium.
With this victory, Esperance completed the aggregate score of the two matches with four goals to none, making them the only Tunisian team to qualify for the group stage after the withdrawal of US Monastir. The draw for the next round will take place on November 3 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
