أعلن رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم جاني إنفانتينو أن الفيفا ستشارك في إعادة إعمار البنية التحتية لكرة القدم في غزة ضمن برنامج أوسع لإعادة التعافي بعد الحرب، تم الاتفاق عليه خلال قمة السلام في شرم الشيخ.
وأوضح إنفانتينو أن الفيفا ستطلق صندوقاً خاصاً لبناء ملاعب جديدة ودعم برامج الشباب، بالتعاون مع الاتحاد الفلسطيني لكرة القدم. كما ستُنشأ ملاعب مصغّرة ومنشآت FIFA Arenas حديثة، بمشاركة شركاء دوليين. وأكّد إنفانتينو أن الهدف هو منح الأمل للأطفال وإعادة كرة القدم إلى المنطقة، مشيراً إلى أن الأعمال ستبدأ فور تحسّن الوضع الإنساني في غزة، لأن كرة القدم يجب أن توحّد وتمنح الأمل.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced that FIFA will participate in the reconstruction of football infrastructure in Gaza as part of a broader recovery program following the war, which was agreed upon during the peace summit in Sharm El Sheikh.
Infantino explained that FIFA will launch a special fund to build new stadiums and support youth programs, in collaboration with the Palestinian Football Association. Mini-stadiums and modern FIFA Arenas will also be established, with the participation of international partners. Infantino emphasized that the goal is to give hope to children and bring football back to the region, noting that work will begin as soon as the humanitarian situation in Gaza improves, because football should unite and provide hope.
