حسم رئيس الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم (كاف) باتريس موتسيبي، الجدل حول مصير استضافة المغرب بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025، في ظل الاحتجاجات التي تشهدها البلاد في الآونة الأخيرة.
وخلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده موتسيبي في كينشاسا جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية، عقب انتهاء الجمعية العمومية العادية للاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم، أمس (الإثنين)، قال موتسيبي رداً على احتمالية سحب تنظيم البطولة من المغرب: «المغرب هو الخطة أ، المغرب هو الخطة ب، المغرب هو الخطة ج».
تعاون مع الحكومة والشعب المغربي
وأضاف: «نحن واثقون تماماً من أننا سنتعاون ونعمل مع الحكومة وكل شعب المغرب لاستضافة أنجح بطولة أمم أفريقيا في التاريخ».
ويستضيف المغرب بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية خلال الفترة من 21 ديسمبر القادم إلى 18 يناير 2026 بمشاركة 24 منتخباً.
African Football Confederation (CAF) President Patrice Motsepe has settled the debate regarding Morocco's hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 amid the recent protests in the country.
During a press conference held by Motsepe in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, following the conclusion of the ordinary general assembly of the African Football Confederation yesterday (Monday), Motsepe responded to the possibility of withdrawing the tournament's organization from Morocco by saying: "Morocco is plan A, Morocco is plan B, Morocco is plan C."
Cooperation with the Moroccan government and people
He added: "We are completely confident that we will cooperate and work with the government and all the people of Morocco to host the most successful Africa Cup of Nations in history."
Morocco will host the Africa Cup of Nations from December 21 to January 18, 2026, with the participation of 24 teams.
