فرض الاتحاد الكويتي لكرة القدم عقوبات شديدة على فريقي الكويت والقادسية بعد الأحداث المؤسفة التي شهدتها المباراة التي جمعتهما ضمن لقاءات الجولة الرابعة للدوري الكويتي للدرجة الممتازة.
وجاء في بيان رسمي نشره اتحاد القدم الكويتي عبر حسابه الرسمي في منصة «X» أنه قررت لجنة الانضباط فرض عقوبات على من تسبب بتلك الأحداث، وتم إصدار 8 عقوبات على فريق الكويت، وهي كالتالي: تغريم رئيس نادي الكويت خالد الغنام 10 آلاف دينار كويتي، وإيقافه عن حضور المباريات لمدة 3 سنوات ميلادية، وحرمانه من دخول الملعب وغرفة الملابس لمدة 3 سنوات ميلادية، معاقبة كل من عادل عقلة ومحمد الهاجري بالإيقاف والحرمان من حضور المباريات ودخول الملعب وغرفة الملابس لمدة 3 سنوات ميلادية مع غرامة مالية قدرها 5 آلاف دينار كويتي لكل واحد منهما، حرمان كل من: محمد خالد الغنام ومشاري خالد الغنام وناصر محمد الهاجري وخالد عادل عقلة من دخول الملعب لمدة سنة ميلادية، معاقبة اللاعب إبراهيم كميل بإيقافه 4 مباريات وغرامة مالية قدرها 1,000 دينار كويتي، معاقبة مساعد مدرب نادي الكويت كريم بوزغبة وأخصائي العلاج الطبيعي إبراهيم فلاح الظفيري بالحرمان لمدة 4 مباريات من الدوري الكويتي وغرامة مالية على كل واحد منهما 1,000 دينار كويتي، وأصدرت اللجنة قراراً بمنع حضور أي شخص بالمنصة الرئيسية للمباريات التي يستضيفها نادي الكويت لمدة 4 مباريات، وأخيراً معاقبة نادي الكويت بغرامة مالية قدرها 10 آلاف دينار كويتي.
كما أصدرت 7 عقوبات على نادي القادسية، وهي كالتالي: معاقبة نائب رئيس نادي القادسية الشيخ فهد طلال الصباح بغرامة مالية قدرها 10 آلاف دينار كويتي والإيقاف عن حضور المباريات لمدة 3 سنوات ميلادية وحرمانه من دخول الملعب وغرفة الملابس لمدة 3 سنوات ميلادية، معاقبة المنسق الإعلامي عبدالله الأنصاري بالإيقاف والحرمان من حضور المباريات ودخول الملعب وغرفة الملابس لمدة 3 سنوات ميلادية مع غرامة مالية قدرها 5 آلاف دينار كويتي، حرمان مدرب نادي القادسية نبيل معلول من دخول الملعب وغرفة الملابس لـ 4 مباريات من الدوري الكويتي وغرامة مالية قدرها 3,000 دينار كويتي، وذلك لصدور سلوك وفعل مسيء وغير لائق، حرمان عضو مجلس إدارة نادي القادسية محمد رضا معرفي من دخول الملعب لمدة سنة ميلادية، معاقبة لاعب القادسية عبدالعزيز وادي وإداريي القادسية فيصل حسين وفهد علي الكندري بالحرمان لمدة 4 مباريات من الدوري الكويتي وغرامة مالية على كل واحد منهما 1,000 دينار كويتي،، وأصدرت اللجنة قراراً بمنع حضور أي شخص بالمنصة الرئيسية للمباريات التي يستضيفها نادي القادسية لمدة 4 مباريات، وأخيراً معاقبة نادي القادسية بغرامة مالية قدرها 10,000 دينار كويتي.

The Kuwait Football Association imposed severe penalties on the teams of Kuwait and Qadsia following the unfortunate events that occurred during the match between them in the fourth round of the Kuwaiti Premier League.
In an official statement published by the Kuwait Football Association via its official account on the "X" platform, it was announced that the Disciplinary Committee decided to impose penalties on those responsible for these events. Eight penalties were issued against the Kuwait team, as follows: a fine of 10,000 Kuwaiti Dinars for the President of Kuwait Club, Khaled Al-Ghanam, along with a three-year ban from attending matches and a three-year prohibition from entering the stadium and the locker room; both Adel Aqla and Mohammed Al-Hajri were suspended and banned from attending matches and entering the stadium and locker room for three years, with a fine of 5,000 Kuwaiti Dinars each; Mohammed Khaled Al-Ghanam, Mishari Khaled Al-Ghanam, Nasser Mohammed Al-Hajri, and Khaled Adel Aqla were banned from entering the stadium for one year; player Ibrahim Kameel was suspended for four matches and fined 1,000 Kuwaiti Dinars; Kuwait Club assistant coach Karim Bouzghiba and physiotherapist Ibrahim Falah Al-Dhafiri were banned for four matches from the Kuwaiti league and fined 1,000 Kuwaiti Dinars each; the committee issued a decision to prevent any person from attending the main stand for matches hosted by Kuwait Club for four matches; and finally, Kuwait Club was fined 10,000 Kuwaiti Dinars.
