وجّه الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي، بتوفير الرعاية الصحية اللازمة، والمتابعة الطبية الفورية للكابتن حسن شحاتة، المدير الفني الأسبق لمنتخب مصر، وذلك على خلفية الوعكة الصحيةِ التي تعرّض لها مؤخّراً.
وتأتي توجيهاتُ الرئيس المصري حرصاً على تقديم الدعم الكامل للمُعلم حسن شحاتة، تقديراً لما قدّمه من إنجازات تاريخية للرياضة المصرية، ولما يحظى به من مكانة خاصة في قلوب المصريين، وفي إطار النهجِ الذي تتّبعه الدولة المصرية في الاهتمام برموزها الوطنية، بحسبِ البيان الصادرِ عن رئاسة الجمهورية.
وخضع حسن شحاتة لعملية جراحية عاجلة، الأسبوعَ الماضي، بعد تدهور حالته الصحية بشكل مفاجئ.
ويُعدّ حسن شحاتة أحد أبرز رموز نادي الزمالك عبر تاريخه، وأسطورة في كرة القدم المصرية لاعباً ومُدرباً؛ إذ سيظل إنجازُه الفريد بقيادة المنتخب المصري للتتويج بلقب كأس الأمم الأفريقية ثلاثَ مرات متتالية كمدير فني (2006، 2008، 2010)، عالقاً في أذهان مُشجّعي كرةِ القدم.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has directed that necessary healthcare and immediate medical follow-up be provided for Captain Hassan Shehata, the former head coach of the Egyptian national team, following the recent health setback he experienced.
These directives from the Egyptian president come in a bid to provide full support to Coach Hassan Shehata, in appreciation of the historical achievements he has made for Egyptian sports, and for the special place he holds in the hearts of Egyptians, as stated in the announcement issued by the Presidency.
Hassan Shehata underwent an urgent surgical operation last week after his health condition deteriorated suddenly.
Hassan Shehata is considered one of the most prominent figures in the history of Zamalek Club and a legend in Egyptian football, both as a player and a coach; his unique achievement of leading the Egyptian national team to win the Africa Cup of Nations three consecutive times as head coach (2006, 2008, 2010) will remain etched in the memories of football fans.
