أكد إسلام حسن شحاتة، نجل أسطورة كرة القدم المصرية حسن شحاتة، أن والده سيخضع لعملية جراحية عاجلة «الليلة».
وقال إسلام شحاتة في تصريحات خاصة لـ«عكاظ»: «الكابتن حسن شعر بتعبٍ خلال الأيام الماضية، وبعد الفحوصاتِ الطبية نصحه الأطباء بضرورة الخضوع لعمليةٍ جراحية عاجلة».
وأضاف: «سيدخل الكابتن حسن غرفةَ العمليات الليلة، وحالته مستقرةٌ إلى حدٍّ ما في الوقت الحالي».
وتحفّظ نجل الكابتن حسن شحاتة على ذكر تفاصيلِ الوعكةِ الصحية المفاجئة التي تعرض لها «المُعلم» خلال الأيام الأخيرة.
ويُعد حسن شحاتة أحد أبرز رموزِ نادي الزمالك عبر تاريخه، وأسطورة في كرةِ القدم المصرية لاعباً ومدرّباً؛ إذ سيظل إنجازه الفريد بقيادةِ المنتخب المصري للتتويجِ بلقب كأسِ الأمم الأفريقية ثلاث مرات متتالية كمدير فني (2006، 2008، 2010) عالقاً في أذهانِ مشجعي كرة القدم.

Islam Shehata stated in exclusive remarks to "Okaz": "Captain Hassan felt unwell over the past few days, and after medical examinations, the doctors advised him to undergo urgent surgery."
He added: "Captain Hassan will enter the operating room tonight, and his condition is somewhat stable at the moment."
The son of Captain Hassan Shehata refrained from mentioning details about the sudden health issue that "the teacher" experienced in recent days.
Hassan Shehata is considered one of the most prominent symbols of Zamalek Club throughout its history and a legend in Egyptian football as both a player and a coach; his unique achievement of leading the Egyptian national team to win the Africa Cup of Nations three consecutive times as head coach (2006, 2008, 2010) will remain etched in the minds of football fans.
