The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, announced today (Monday) the execution of 1,276 targeting operations over the past 24 hours, as part of the "Fajr Yemen" operation, which targeted the military capabilities of the Houthi terrorist militia across various fronts and axes. This resulted in neutralizing about 382 militia leaders and members, as well as destroying and damaging 140 vehicles and pieces of heavy weaponry, in addition to destroying weapon and ammunition depots.
Al-Nazili explained that the targets included field command and control centers, defensive positions, fire positions, military reinforcements, transportation and supply means, and weapon and ammunition depots, coinciding with the execution of qualitative operations deep within that targeted the militia's capabilities to manage combat operations, regroup its forces, and push reinforcements to the front lines.
On the Taiz front, Al-Nazili stated: The armed forces, with support from popular resistance and warplanes, executed surprise operations in several axes, during which focused airstrikes targeted military objectives, contributing to suppressing sources of fire, hindering the movements of reinforcements, and improving the tactical position of the forces in several hills and commanding sites.
On the fronts of Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, and the southern and southwestern fronts, Al-Nazili clarified that combat operations continued at a synchronized pace, targeting the militia's movements, defensive positions, and supply lines, which limited its ability to transfer reserves between fronts or concentrate its forces in a single combat axis.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni army confirmed that the synchronization of operations across various fronts reflects a high level of readiness and the ability to take the initiative, continuing to pressure the militia, depleting its combat capabilities, and achieving accumulated field gains.
Al-Nazili emphasized the continuation of military missions according to the requirements of the battlefield situation, while adhering to the provisions of international humanitarian law and taking the necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.
