بمشاركة قوات العمالقة ودرع الوطن وبدعم وإسناد جوي، تواصل القوات المسلحة اليمنية اليوم (الثلاثاء)، عملياتها لتحرير مناطق إستراتيجية ومرتفعات جبلية في الوازعية المطلة على الساحل الغربي بمحافظة تعز من سيطرة مليشيا الحوثي، بالتزامن مع التقدم الميداني في عدد من المحاور، وذلك في إطار عملية «فجر اليمن» الهادفة إلى استعادة اليمن.
المليشيا تسحب آلياتها
وقال مصدر ميداني إن مليشيا الحوثي بدأت سحب عدد من المعدات والآليات الثقيلة من مديرية الوازعية باتجاه منطقة البرح، بالتزامن مع تقدم القوات المسلحة في ريف محافظة تعز، موضحاً أن القوات تواصل تقدمها باتجاه مفرق البيرين، وسط اشتباكات عنيفة في المنطقة الواقعة بين خطي النشمة والكدحة.
وأوضحت أن التحركات العسكرية تستهدف تضييق الخناق على مواقع الحوثيين المتبقية في الريف الجنوبي والغربي للمحافظة.
اقتراب السيطرة على جبل المنصورة
وذكرت مصادر ميدانية أن السيطرة الكاملة على جبل المنصورة الاستراتيجي في الوازعية باتت وشيكة، في ظل استمرار تقدم القوات واقترابها من حسم المواقع المتبقية، موضحة أن التقدم جاء بعد معارك ضارية.
وفي جنوب تعز، أعلن المركز الإعلامي لمحور تعز اشتداد وتيرة المعارك بين القوات المسلحة، مسنودة بالمقاومة الشعبية، ومليشيا الحوثي في عزلة قدس بمديرية المواسط.
وأشارت إلى أن قوات اللواء 35 مدرع، بمشاركة أفراد من الأمن والأهالي، يخوضون معارك عنيفة في منطقتي قدس وبني يوسف، وسط تصاعد حدة المواجهات واتساع رقعتها.
تصاعد العمليات في مختلف الجبهات
وبحسب مصادر ميدانية، فإن العميد الركن عبدالرحمن الشمساني، قائد اللواء 35 مدرع، والعميد جميل عقلان، قائد قوات الأمن المركزي في تعز، يقودان المعارك ميدانياً، فيما تتركز المواجهات حول جبل مطران في قدس وجبل ثمرة في بني يوسف، نظراً لأهميتهما الإستراتيجية وإشرافهما على مناطق ريفية وقرى سكنية واسعة.
وتأتي هذه التطورات بالتزامن مع تصاعد العمليات العسكرية في مختلف جبهات محافظة تعز، وإعلان القوات المسلحة بدء معركة التحرير واستعادة مؤسسات الدولة والمناطق الإستراتيجية، وسط تحركات ميدانية متزامنة لتأمين الساحل الغربي وفتح محاور جديدة للتقدم.
With the participation of the Giants Forces and the National Shield, and with air support, the Yemeni armed forces continue today (Tuesday) their operations to liberate strategic areas and mountainous heights in Al-Waziyah overlooking the western coast of Taiz Governorate from the control of the Houthi militia, coinciding with field advances in several fronts, as part of the "Dawn of Yemen" operation aimed at restoring Yemen.
The militia withdraws its equipment
A field source stated that the Houthi militia began withdrawing a number of heavy equipment and machinery from Al-Waziyah District towards the Al-Barah area, coinciding with the advance of the armed forces in the rural areas of Taiz Governorate, explaining that the forces continue their advance towards the Al-Bayrin junction, amidst fierce clashes in the area located between the Nashmah and Al-Kadhah lines.
It was clarified that the military movements aim to tighten the noose around the remaining Houthi positions in the southern and western countryside of the governorate.
Approaching control of Mount Al-Mansourah
Field sources reported that complete control over the strategic Mount Al-Mansourah in Al-Waziyah is imminent, as the forces continue to advance and are close to resolving the remaining positions, indicating that the advance came after fierce battles.
In southern Taiz, the media center for the Taiz axis announced an escalation in the pace of battles between the armed forces, supported by popular resistance, and the Houthi militia in the Quds isolation in the Mawasit District.
It was noted that the forces of the 35th Armored Brigade, with the participation of security personnel and locals, are engaged in intense battles in the areas of Quds and Bani Yusuf, amidst escalating confrontations and expanding their scope.
Escalation of operations on various fronts
According to field sources, Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al-Shamsani, commander of the 35th Armored Brigade, and Brigadier General Jamil Aqilan, commander of the Central Security Forces in Taiz, are leading the battles on the ground, while confrontations are concentrated around Mount Mataran in Quds and Mount Thamara in Bani Yusuf, due to their strategic importance and their oversight of vast rural areas and residential villages.
These developments come amid an escalation of military operations on various fronts in Taiz Governorate, and the announcement by the armed forces of the start of the liberation battle and the restoration of state institutions and strategic areas, alongside simultaneous field movements to secure the western coast and open new fronts for advancement.
