أعلنت الحكومة البلغارية أن سفينتين تجاريتين تعرضتا لهجوم بطائرات مسيرة، (الثلاثاء)، في المنطقة الاقتصادية الخالصة لبلغاريا في البحر الأسود. وأكدت غرق إحداهما، بحسب خدمات الإنقاذ البحري البلغارية.
وأفاد مدير مركز تنسيق عمليات الإنقاذ البحري في فارنا رومان نيكولوف في تصريحات نقلتها الإذاعة العامة البلغارية، بأن إحدى السفينتين غرقت وفُقد طاقمها، في حين جرى إنقاذ طاقم السفينة الثانية. وتجري حاليا عملية إنقاذ على بعد نحو 80 ميلا بحريا (150 كيلومترا) إلى الشرق من مدينة بيالا الساحلية، بحسب الإذاعة البلغارية.
وبحسب موقع "Maritime.bg" المتخصص، تعرضت سفينة ترفع علم توغو لأضرار جسيمة قبل أن تغرق. وأشار الموقع إلى أن حريقا اندلع على متن سفينة أخرى ترفع علم بالاو، وقد أجلي أفراد طاقمها البالغ عددهم 18 شخصا بواسطة عبّارة بلغارية.
وتأتي الحادثة غداة هجوم استهدف سفينة الشحن التركية "روياد مامادوف" في المنطقة الاقتصادية الخالصة لرومانيا، ما أسفر عن مقتل اثنين من أفراد الطاقم وإنقاذ أحد عشر آخرين. وكان الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، اتهم روسيا بضرب السفينة بواسطة طائرتين مسيرتين ما أدى إلى غرقها.
The Bulgarian government announced that two commercial vessels were attacked by drones on (Tuesday) in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea. It confirmed that one of them sank, according to Bulgarian maritime rescue services.
The director of the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center in Varna, Roman Nikolov, stated in remarks reported by Bulgarian public radio that one of the vessels sank and its crew was lost, while the crew of the second vessel was rescued. A rescue operation is currently underway about 80 nautical miles (150 kilometers) east of the coastal city of Byala, according to Bulgarian radio.
According to the specialized site "Maritime.bg," a vessel flying the Togolese flag sustained significant damage before sinking. The site noted that a fire broke out on another vessel flying the Palauan flag, and its crew of 18 was evacuated by a Bulgarian ferry.
This incident comes a day after an attack targeted the Turkish cargo ship "Royad Mamadov" in Romania's exclusive economic zone, resulting in the deaths of two crew members and the rescue of eleven others. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of striking the ship with two drones, leading to its sinking.
