عبّر سفير اليمن لدى السعودية، سالم صالح بن بريك، اليوم (الإثنين)، عن خالص الشكر والتقدير لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، على ما توليه قيادة المملكة من اهتمام ورعاية لأبناء الشعب اليمني.
وقال السفير بن بريك لـ«عكاظ»: إن توجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين بالاستجابة لطلب رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي الدكتور رشاد محمد العليمي، بشأن تصحيح أوضاع اليمنيين الموجودين في المملكة بطرق غير نظامية، تمثل امتداداً للمواقف الأخوية والإنسانية الراسخة للمملكة العربية السعودية تجاه اليمن وشعبه.
وأضاف أن هذه المبادرة الكريمة تعكس عمق العلاقات التاريخية والأخوية التي تجمع البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين، وتجسد ما تحظى به اليمن من اهتمام ودعم مستمر من قيادة المملكة، خصوصاً في ظل الظروف الاستثنائية التي يمر بها الشعب اليمني.
وأشار السفير بن بريك إلى أن المملكة ظلت على الدوام السند الأقرب لليمن في مختلف المراحل، مؤكداً أن ما تقدمه من دعم ورعاية لليمنيين يعكس طبيعة العلاقة الخاصة التي تربط البلدين، ويتجاوز البعد الرسمي إلى روابط أخوية واجتماعية وإنسانية عميقة.
كما عبّر عن تقديره للجهود التي بذلها رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي الدكتور رشاد محمد العليمي ومتابعته لهذا الملف، وما أثمرت عنه من استجابة كريمة من خادم الحرمين الشريفين.
ودعا السفير بن بريك أبناء الجالية اليمنية المعنيين إلى الاستفادة من هذه المكرمة والالتزام بما سيصدر من تعليمات وضوابط رسمية، مؤكداً أن سفارة اليمن في الرياض ستواصل التنسيق مع الجهات المختصة، وستقوم بإطلاع المواطنين على كل ما يتعلق بالإجراءات والخدمات القنصلية المرتبطة بها فور ورودها.
The Yemeni ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Salem Saleh bin Breik, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation today (Monday) to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the attention and care that the leadership of the Kingdom gives to the Yemeni people.
Ambassador bin Breik told “Okaz”: The directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to respond to the request of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, regarding the regularization of the status of Yemenis in the Kingdom who are there illegally, represent an extension of the steadfast brotherly and humanitarian positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards Yemen and its people.
He added that this generous initiative reflects the depth of the historical and brotherly relations that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and embodies the continuous attention and support that Yemen receives from the leadership of the Kingdom, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances faced by the Yemeni people.
Ambassador bin Breik pointed out that the Kingdom has always been the closest supporter of Yemen at various stages, affirming that the support and care it provides to Yemenis reflects the special nature of the relationship between the two countries, transcending the official dimension to deep brotherly, social, and humanitarian ties.
He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, in following up on this file, and the kind response it has yielded from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Ambassador bin Breik called on the Yemeni community members concerned to take advantage of this grace and to adhere to the official instructions and regulations that will be issued, affirming that the Yemeni embassy in Riyadh will continue to coordinate with the relevant authorities and will inform citizens of everything related to the procedures and consular services associated with it as soon as they are received.
