نفى المتحدث الرسمي باسم القوات المسلحة اليمنية العقيد الركن ماجد النزيلي، ما تروّجه حسابات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تابعة للمليشيا الحوثية بشأن تحقيق انتصارات في محافظة مأرب، مؤكداً أن المحافظة آمنة وتشهد احتفالات بذكرى ثورة 26 سبتمبر.
ونشر النزيلي مقطع فيديو من مأرب، قال فيه: «الآن، مأرب التاريخ والحضارة آمنة ومطمئنة وتبتهج باحتفالات ثورة 26 سبتمبر».
«تشويش على احتفالات الثورة»
ووصف متحدث القوات المسلحة اليمنية ما تروّجه المليشيا الحوثية بشأن انتصارات في مأرب بأنه «مزاعم»، معتبراً أنها محاولة لتشتيت الأنظار والتشويش على احتفالات اليمنيين بذكرى ثورة 26 سبتمبر.
وتأتي تصريحات النزيلي في وقت تشهد فيه جبهات مأرب مواجهات متواصلة؛ إذ كانت القوات المسلحة اليمنية قد أعلنت أخيراً التصدي لهجمات ومحاولات تسلل حوثية في المحافظة.
The official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, denied the claims circulated by accounts on social media affiliated with the Houthi militia regarding achieving victories in Marib Governorate, affirming that the governorate is safe and witnessing celebrations for the anniversary of the September 26 Revolution.
Al-Nazili shared a video from Marib, stating: "Now, Marib, the land of history and civilization, is safe and secure, celebrating the September 26 Revolution."
"Disruption of the Revolution Celebrations"
The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces described the Houthi militia's claims about victories in Marib as "allegations," considering them an attempt to distract attention and disrupt the celebrations of Yemenis for the anniversary of the September 26 Revolution.
Al-Nazili's statements come at a time when the fronts in Marib are witnessing ongoing confrontations; the Yemeni Armed Forces had recently announced repelling Houthi attacks and infiltration attempts in the governorate.
