أعلنت قوات الشرطة في العاصمة اليمنية المؤقتة عدن، اليوم (السبت)، إحباط مخطط لاستهداف قوات أمنية وعسكرية ومنشآت حيوية، وضبط عبوة ناسفة ومواد مرتبطة بالمخطط، قبل تمكّن العناصر المتورطة من تنفيذ أهدافها.
وأوضحت شرطة دار سعد أن العملية الأمنية نُفذت بمشاركة شرطة كابوتا، وأسفرت عن القبض على أحد المتهمين والعثور بحوزته على عبوة ناسفة ومواد مرتبطة بالمخطط، فيما كشفت التحقيقات معلومات بشأن عبوات ناسفة أخرى وأهداف كان يُخطط لاستهدافها داخل العاصمة.
وأكد مدير قسم شرطة دار سعد العقيد مصلح الذراحاني أن ضبط المتهم جاء نتيجة جهود أمنية متواصلة، بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأمنية ذات الصلة، شملت التحري والرصد وجمع المعلومات ومتابعة الخيوط المرتبطة بالقضية، وصولاً إلى تحديد هوية المتهم والقبض عليه.
وأشار إلى أن الأجهزة الأمنية باشرت فوراً إجراءات التحقيق والتحري لكشف ملابسات القضية، وتحديد طبيعة المخطط والأشخاص والجهات المرتبطة به، وملاحقة بقية العناصر المتورطة.
استهداف قوة عسكرية
ووفقاً لما ورد في محاضر التحقيق، أقر المتهم وليد صالح أحمد صالح، بحسب إفادته، بتسلّمه عبوة ناسفة بهدف استخدامها في استهداف قوة عسكرية على أحد الطرق الرئيسية في العاصمة عدن.
وفي تسجيل مصور نشرته الشرطة، قال المتهم إن تسلّم العبوة جاء عقب تواصل وتنسيق مع شخص يُدعى مأمون الزجر، موضحاً أنه توجّه إلى منطقة صبر في محافظة لحج، حيث التقى شخصاً قال إنه تسلّم منه العبوة، قبل نقلها إلى العاصمة عدن وإخفائها في أحد المواقع.
وأضاف، وفقاً لأقواله، أن العبوة نُقلت لاحقاً إلى منطقة خط التسعين، ثم وُضعت داخل أحد المباني في محيط خط الخمسين، مشيراً إلى أنه كان ينتظر الحصول على مبلغ مالي وسيارة بعد تنفيذ العملية.
وبحسب إفادته، كان الهدف من العملية إحداث حالة من الفوضى وزعزعة الأمن والاستقرار في العاصمة عدن.
لقاءات وترتيبات
وكشفت التحقيقات، وفقاً لأقوال المتهم، عقد لقاء في منطقة الحوبان بمحافظة تعز، جمعه بأمجد خالد ومأمون الزجر ومحمد الخشع، تناول ترتيبات لتنفيذ عملية داخل العاصمة عدن.
وقال المتهم إنه التقى قبل نحو ستة أشهر أمجد خالد في المنطقة ذاتها، وكان بحوزته كشف يتضمن أسماء عدد من القيادات والضباط في ألوية العمالقة وضباطاً أمنيين.
وأضاف أنه تعرّف من بين الأسماء الواردة في الكشف على إمام المسجد منير السعدي والعقيد مصلح الذراحاني، مدير قسم شرطة دار سعد.
ووفقاً للتحقيقات، ظل أمجد خالد على تواصل مع المتهم خلال الدقائق الأخيرة التي سبقت القبض عليه، وتركزت الاتصالات، بحسب إفادة المتهم، على توجيهه لاستهداف أي قوة عسكرية أو أمنية في العاصمة عدن، في محاولة لتنفيذ العملية بشكل عاجل قبل إحباطها من الأجهزة الأمنية.
تجنيد وكتابة منشورات
وذكر المتهم، بحسب التحقيقات، أن المهام التي كُلّف بها لم تقتصر على تنفيذ العملية، بل شملت أيضاً تجنيد أشخاص وكتابة شعارات ومنشورات مناهضة لتحالف دعم الشرعية، واستخدام أسماء مرتبطة بالقوات الجنوبية بهدف إثارة الخلافات والانقسامات وزعزعة الأمن الداخلي.
كما قال إن مأمون الزجر أبلغه بوجود عناصر أخرى داخل العاصمة عدن، زاعماً أنها مكلفة بتنفيذ عمليات باستخدام طائرات مسيّرة لاستهداف مقرات حكومية وأمنية.
عبوات أخرى
وفي تطور آخر، تضمنت التحقيقات، وفقاً لأقوال المتهم، معلومات عن عبوات ناسفة أخرى عُثر عليها في مكان إقامته.
وذكر المتهم أن تلك العبوات أُحضرت من صنعاء قبل نحو عام، وأنه تسلّمها من شخص يُدعى «أبو جعفر»، وصفه بأنه مرتبط بمليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية، مضيفاً أنها كانت مخصصة لاستهداف ضباط في التحالف وقيادات عسكرية في ألوية العمالقة، من بينهم القيادي في قوات درع الوطن بسام المحضار.
وأكدت الأجهزة الأمنية في العاصمة عدن أن إحباط المخطط وضبط العبوات الناسفة قبل استخدامها يعكس أهمية العمل الأمني الاستباقي والتنسيق بين الوحدات والأقسام الأمنية في كشف المخططات التي تستهدف أمن العاصمة وسلامة المواطنين.
وشددت على استمرار عمليات التحري والرصد وملاحقة كل من يثبت تورطه في أعمال تهدد الأمن والاستقرار، مؤكدة مواصلة الإجراءات القانونية بحق المتورطين واستكمال التحقيقات لكشف جميع ملابسات القضية والوصول إلى بقية العناصر والجهات المرتبطة بها.
The police forces in the temporary Yemeni capital, Aden, announced today (Saturday) the thwarting of a plot to target security and military forces and vital facilities, and the seizure of an explosive device and materials related to the plot, before the involved elements could carry out their objectives.
The Dar Saad police clarified that the security operation was carried out with the participation of the Kabota police, resulting in the arrest of one of the suspects and the discovery of an explosive device and materials related to the plot in his possession. Investigations revealed information regarding other explosive devices and targets that were planned to be attacked within the capital.
Colonel Msalih Al-Dharahani, the director of the Dar Saad police department, confirmed that the arrest of the suspect was the result of ongoing security efforts, in coordination with relevant security agencies, which included investigation, surveillance, information gathering, and tracking leads related to the case, leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
He indicated that the security agencies immediately initiated investigation and inquiry procedures to uncover the circumstances of the case, determine the nature of the plot, the individuals and entities involved, and pursue the remaining involved elements.
Targeting a Military Force
According to what was stated in the investigation records, the suspect Walid Saleh Ahmed Saleh admitted, in his testimony, to receiving an explosive device intended for use in targeting a military force on one of the main roads in the capital, Aden.
In a video recording published by the police, the suspect stated that he received the device following communication and coordination with a person named Mamoun Al-Zajir, explaining that he went to the Sabir area in Lahij Governorate, where he met someone who he said handed him the device before transporting it to the capital, Aden, and hiding it in one of the locations.
He added, according to his statements, that the device was later transported to the 90th Street area, then placed inside one of the buildings around the 50th Street, indicating that he was waiting to receive a sum of money and a car after carrying out the operation.
According to his testimony, the goal of the operation was to create chaos and destabilize security and stability in the capital, Aden.
Meetings and Arrangements
Investigations revealed, according to the suspect's statements, that a meeting was held in the Al-Hawban area in Taiz Governorate, which included him, Amjad Khalid, Mamoun Al-Zajir, and Muhammad Al-Khasha, discussing arrangements to carry out an operation inside the capital, Aden.
The suspect stated that he met Amjad Khalid in the same area about six months ago, and he had a list containing the names of several leaders and officers in the Giants Brigades and security officers.
He added that he recognized among the names on the list the mosque imam Munir Al-Saadi and Colonel Msalih Al-Dharahani, the director of the Dar Saad police department.
According to the investigations, Amjad Khalid remained in contact with the suspect during the last minutes before his arrest, and the communications, according to the suspect's testimony, focused on directing him to target any military or security force in the capital, Aden, in an attempt to carry out the operation urgently before it was thwarted by the security agencies.
Recruitment and Writing Publications
The suspect mentioned, according to the investigations, that the tasks assigned to him were not limited to carrying out the operation, but also included recruiting individuals and writing slogans and publications opposing the legitimacy support coalition, and using names associated with the southern forces to incite disputes and divisions and destabilize internal security.
He also stated that Mamoun Al-Zajir informed him of the presence of other elements inside the capital, Aden, claiming that they were tasked with carrying out operations using drones to target government and security headquarters.
Other Devices
In another development, the investigations included, according to the suspect's statements, information about other explosive devices found at his place of residence.
The suspect mentioned that these devices were brought from Sana'a about a year ago, and he received them from a person named "Abu Jaafar," whom he described as being linked to the terrorist Houthi militia, adding that they were intended to target officers in the coalition and military leaders in the Giants Brigades, including the leader in the National Shield Forces, Bassam Al-Mahdar.
The security agencies in the capital, Aden, confirmed that thwarting the plot and seizing the explosive devices before their use reflects the importance of proactive security work and coordination between security units and departments in uncovering plots targeting the security of the capital and the safety of its citizens.
They emphasized the continuation of investigation and surveillance operations and pursuing anyone proven to be involved in actions threatening security and stability, confirming the continuation of legal procedures against the perpetrators and completing investigations to uncover all the circumstances of the case and reach the remaining elements and entities linked to it.
