أعربت مصر، اليوم الثلاثاء، عن إدانتها الشديدة للهجمات الصاروخية والطائرات المسيّرة التي استهدفت مدن أبها وخميس مشيط وجازان ونجران في المملكة العربية السعودية، وأسفرت عن إصابة عشرات المدنيين؛ بينهم نساء وأطفال، في اعتداء وصفته القاهرة بأنه تصعيد خطير وانتهاك صارخ لسيادة المملكة وتهديد مباشر لأمن شعبها.
وأكدت وزارة الخارجية المصرية تضامن القاهرة الكامل مع الرياض، مشددة على أن أمن المملكة يمثل جزءًا أصيلًا من الأمن القومي المصري والعربي، وأن استهداف المدنيين والمنشآت المدنية أمر مرفوض تمامًا ولا يمكن القبول به تحت أي ظرف.
وفي السياق ذاته، أدانت السعودية الهجمات التي نفذتها ميليشيا الحوثي ضد أعيان مدنية واقتصادية في مدن الجنوب، والتي أدت إلى إصابة 73 شخصًا، بينهم نساء وأطفال، مؤكدة حقها في اتخاذ ما يلزم من إجراءات لحماية سيادتها والدفاع عن مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها وفق قواعد القانون الدولي.
وأشارت وزارة الخارجية السعودية إلى أن هذه الاعتداءات تزامنت مع استمرار الحوثيين في استهداف السفن التجارية في البحر الأحمر وتهديد حرية الملاحة الدولية، معتبرةً أن النهج العدائي للميليشيا يعرقل جهود السلام ويقوّض أمن اليمن والمنطقة بأكملها.
وجددت السعودية تأكيدها أنها لن تتهاون مع أي اعتداء يمسُّ أراضيها أو مقدراتها الوطنية، وأنها ستواصل اتخاذ التدابير الكفيلة بصون أمنها واستقرارها وحماية المدنيين من أي تهديد.
Egypt expressed its strong condemnation today, Tuesday, of the missile and drone attacks that targeted the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the injury of dozens of civilians, including women and children, in an assault that Cairo described as a serious escalation and a blatant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a direct threat to the security of its people.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Cairo's full solidarity with Riyadh, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Egyptian and Arab national security, and that targeting civilians and civilian facilities is completely unacceptable and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
In the same context, Saudi Arabia condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against civilian and economic targets in the southern cities, which resulted in the injury of 73 people, including women and children, affirming its right to take necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and defend its citizens and residents on its territory in accordance with international law.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that these assaults coincided with the Houthis' continued targeting of commercial ships in the Red Sea and threatening international navigation, considering that the militia's hostile approach undermines peace efforts and jeopardizes the security of Yemen and the entire region.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its commitment not to tolerate any aggression against its territory or national resources, and that it will continue to take measures to safeguard its security and stability and protect civilians from any threat.
