أدان الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية الأستاذ جاسم محمد البديوي، بأشد العبارات الاعتداءات الإرهابية التي قامت بها ميليشيا الحوثي، واستهدافها المتعمد للمدنيين ومقدرات المملكة الوطنية والمنشآت والأعيان المدنية؛ مما أسفر عن وقوع إصابات في صفوف المدنيين، في انتهاك صارخ للقوانين والأعراف الدولية كافة، واستخفاف متعمد بأمن وسلامة المدنيين واستقرار المنطقة.
وأكد أن هذه الاعتداءات المتكررة تكشف مجددًا النوايا الخبيثة لميليشيا الحوثي، وتبرهن على رفضها الصريح لجميع الجهود والمساعي الرامية إلى تحقيق السلام والاستقرار في الجمهورية اليمنية الشقيقة.
وشدد البديوي على أن استهداف المنشآت المدنية ومقدرات الدول عمل إرهابي مدان لا يمكن تبريره أو التساهل معه تحت أي ذريعة، وأن استمرار الحوثي في هذه الممارسات العدائية يمثل تحديًا سافرًا للمجتمع الدولي وتهديدًا مباشرًا للأمن والسلم الإقليمي والدولي، ويؤكد ضرورة اتخاذ المجتمع الدولي موقفًا حازمًا ورادعًا تجاه هذه الانتهاكات، ومحاسبة مرتكبيها وداعميها، وعدم السماح باستمرار هذا السلوك الإرهابي الذي يهدد أمن المنطقة ومصالح شعوبها.
وجدد البديوي التأكيد لوقوف دول مجلس التعاون صفًا واحدًا إلى جانب المملكة العربية السعودية، وتضامنها الكامل معها في مواجهة كل ما يستهدف أمنها واستقرارها وسيادتها ومقدراتها الوطنية، ودعمها للإجراءات والتدابير التي تتخذها لحماية أراضيها ومواطنيها والمقيمين فيها، متمنيًا الشفاء العاجل للمصابين.

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, strongly condemned the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia, and their deliberate targeting of civilians and the national resources of the Kingdom, as well as civil facilities and properties; resulting in injuries among civilians, in a blatant violation of all international laws and norms, and a deliberate disregard for the safety and security of civilians and the stability of the region.
He affirmed that these repeated attacks once again reveal the malicious intentions of the Houthi militia, and demonstrate their outright rejection of all efforts and endeavors aimed at achieving peace and stability in the sisterly Republic of Yemen.
Al-Budaiwi emphasized that targeting civil facilities and the resources of nations is a condemned terrorist act that cannot be justified or tolerated under any pretext, and that the Houthis' continuation of these hostile practices represents a blatant challenge to the international community and a direct threat to regional and international security and peace. He stressed the necessity for the international community to take a firm and deterrent stance against these violations, hold their perpetrators and supporters accountable, and not allow the continuation of this terrorist behavior that threatens the security of the region and the interests of its peoples.
Al-Budaiwi reiterated the solidarity of the GCC countries standing united alongside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and their full support in facing all that targets its security, stability, sovereignty, and national resources, as well as their support for the measures and actions taken to protect its territory, citizens, and residents, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
