كشف مصدر استخباراتي أمريكي، اليوم (الأربعاء)، وجود تحفظات لدى واشنطن تجاه بعض العناصر في الأمن العام اللبناني، مشيراً إلى شبهات حول تقديم تسهيلات لحزب الله في مطار بيروت والمرفأ، بحسب قناتي «العربية/الحدث».
وقال المصدر إن إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب رصدت تحركات لعناصر من الحرس الثوري الإيراني من وإلى لبنان، وسط معلومات تفيد باستخدام هويات ووثائق لبنانيين، بينهم متوفون، لاستخراج مستندات وتسجيل عناصر إيرانية. وأشار إلى أن هناك شبهات بتورط عناصر بالأمن العام في إصدار جوازات سفر لعناصر إيرانية، مبيناً أن السلطات الأمريكية تدقق حالياً في حالات عبور إيرانيين بوثائق لبنانية عبر مطار بيروت والمعابر البرية.
وأفاد المصدر بأن هناك ثغرات في آليات تسجيل وفيات من بيئة حزب الله بهدف إدخال إيرانيين إلى لبنان.
وكان الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون قد شدد في تصريحات سابقة على رفض التدخل الإيراني في الشؤون اللبنانية، مخاطباً الإيرانيين في مقابلة مع شبكة «سي إن إن» بالقول «هذا ليس بلدكم، إنه بلدنا، وواجبنا، وعملكم ليس التدخل في بلدنا». واتهم عون طهران باستخدام لبنان كورقة في مفاوضاتها مع الولايات المتحدة.
وكان الجيش اللبناني، اتهم وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية باستهداف المؤسسات العسكرية وقياداتها عبر نشر الشائعات، مؤكداً أن الهدف هو زعزعة الثقة مع اللبنانيين. وذكر الجيش اللبناني في تدوينات على حسابه في «إكس» أن عناصر المؤسسة ملتزمون بتوجيهاتها والمهمات الموكلة إليهم، ويؤدون واجباتهم انطلاقاً من إيمانهم بمسؤوليتهم الوطنية في الدفاع عن سيادة لبنان وأمنه واستقراره، بعيداً عن أي حسابات أو اعتبارات أخرى.
An American intelligence source revealed today (Wednesday) that Washington has reservations about certain elements within the Lebanese General Security, indicating suspicions regarding the facilitation of Hezbollah's activities at Beirut Airport and the port, according to the channels "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath".
The source stated that the administration of President Donald Trump has monitored movements of elements from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to and from Lebanon, amid information suggesting the use of identities and documents of Lebanese individuals, including deceased ones, to obtain documents and register Iranian elements. It was noted that there are suspicions of involvement by General Security elements in issuing passports for Iranian individuals, indicating that U.S. authorities are currently scrutinizing cases of Iranians crossing with Lebanese documents through Beirut Airport and land crossings.
The source reported that there are loopholes in the registration mechanisms of deaths from Hezbollah's environment aimed at allowing Iranians to enter Lebanon.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun had previously emphasized his rejection of Iranian interference in Lebanese affairs, addressing the Iranians in an interview with CNN by saying, "This is not your country; it is our country, and it is our duty, and your work is not to interfere in our country." Aoun accused Tehran of using Lebanon as a card in its negotiations with the United States.
The Lebanese Army accused Israeli media of targeting military institutions and their leaders by spreading rumors, affirming that the goal is to undermine trust with the Lebanese people. The Lebanese Army mentioned in posts on its account on "X" that the elements of the institution are committed to its directives and the tasks assigned to them, and they perform their duties based on their belief in their national responsibility to defend Lebanon's sovereignty, security, and stability, away from any other calculations or considerations.
