فككت لبنان شبكة لتهريب مقاتلين من الساحل السوري من أجل تدريبهم على يد «حزب الله»، ووفقاً لما نقلته قناتا «العربية/الحدث» عن مصدر لبناني، فإن الشبكة يديرها ضابط سوري سابق من موسكو ومقرب من رئيس النظام السوري السابق بشار الأسد.
وأوضح المصدر أن فرع المعلومات بقوى الأمن الداخلي اللبناني فكّك تلك الشبكة منذ أيام، مبيناً أن الشبكة كانت قد أعدت مخططاً يهدف إلى زعزعة الأمن في لبنان وسورية. وذكر المصدر أنه تم توقيف سوريين ولبنانيين اثنين كانوا ناشطين في عملية تهريب مقاتلين من الساحل السوري إلى الداخل اللبناني عبر معبر غير شرعي في منطقة الشمال، لافتاً إلى أن المتهمين أدخلوا مقاتلين من الساحل السوري إلى لبنان، ثم نقلوهم إلى الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت ومنها إلى معسكر للتدريب تابع لـ«حزب الله» في منطقة بعلبك الهرمل شرق لبنان.
وأوضح المصدر أن من بين الموقوفين عقيد في المخابرات السورية يُدعى مناف علي صافي، إضافة إلى أربعة أشخاص آخرين، وكانوا يخضعون لتدريبات على أيدي مدربين من «حزب الله» وضُبطت معهم أسلحة رشاشة وقنابل يدوية وبنادق قناصة ومتفجرات. وقال المصدر إن الأجهزة الأمنية حددت حتى الآن ثلاثة أسماء من هؤلاء المدربين وتعمل على توقيفهم.
وكانت مصادر مطلعة كشفت العام الماضي أن اثنين كانا من أقرب رجالات الأسد، وهما اللواء كمال حسن وابن خاله الملياردير رامي مخلوف، حاولا تشكيل مليشيات في الساحل السوري وضمن الأراضي اللبنانية تضم أفراداً من الطائفة العلوية التي تنتمي لها عائلة الأسد، وفق ما نقلت حينها وكالة «رويترز».
Lebanon has dismantled a network for smuggling fighters from the Syrian coast to train them under the supervision of "Hezbollah." According to what was reported by the channels "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath" from a Lebanese source, the network is managed by a former Syrian officer from Moscow who is close to the former Syrian regime president Bashar al-Assad.
The source clarified that the Information Branch of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces dismantled this network a few days ago, indicating that the network had prepared a plan aimed at destabilizing security in Lebanon and Syria. The source mentioned that two Syrians and two Lebanese who were active in the operation of smuggling fighters from the Syrian coast into Lebanese territory through an illegal crossing in the northern region were arrested, noting that the accused had brought fighters from the Syrian coast into Lebanon, then transported them to the southern suburbs of Beirut and from there to a training camp belonging to "Hezbollah" in the Baalbek-Hermel area of eastern Lebanon.
The source explained that among those arrested is a colonel in the Syrian intelligence named Manaf Ali Safi, in addition to four other individuals, who were undergoing training by trainers from "Hezbollah" and were found in possession of assault rifles, hand grenades, sniper rifles, and explosives. The source stated that the security agencies have identified three names of these trainers so far and are working to arrest them.
Informed sources revealed last year that two individuals who were among Assad's closest associates, namely Major General Kamel Hassan and his cousin billionaire Rami Makhlouf, attempted to form militias on the Syrian coast and within Lebanese territory comprising members of the Alawite sect to which the Assad family belongs, according to what was reported at the time by the "Reuters" agency.
