أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون الخليجي جاسم محمد البديوي، (الأربعاء)، عن إدانته بأشد العبارات للاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة التي استهدفت مملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت والأردن.
وقال البديوي: «ندين بأشد العبارات، الاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة بالصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة التي استهدفت مملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، مؤكداً أن هذه الاعتداءات الإيرانية تمثل انتهاكاً سافراً لسيادة الدول وتهديداً مباشراً لأمنها واستقرارها».
وشدد الأمين العام على أن دول مجلس التعاون تقف إلى جانب مملكة البحرين ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، في كافة الإجراءات والتدابير التي تتخذها لصون سيادتها وحماية أمنها واستقرارها وسلامة شعبها والمقيمين على أراضيها.
وكانت الكويت ومصر واليمن قد أعربوا عن إدانتهم واستنكارهم الشديدين للاعتداءات الإيرانية بالصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة التي استهدفت مواقع في الكويت والبحرين والأردن والعراق، مؤكدين أنها تهديد خطير لأمن المنطقة واستقرارها وسلامة شعوبها.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed on Wednesday his strongest condemnation of the Iranian criminal attacks that targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and Jordan.
Al-Budaiwi stated: "We condemn in the strongest terms the Iranian criminal attacks with missiles and drones that targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming that these Iranian attacks represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the states and a direct threat to their security and stability."
The Secretary-General emphasized that the Gulf Cooperation Council countries stand alongside the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in all measures and actions they take to preserve their sovereignty and protect their security, stability, and the safety of their people and residents on their territories.
Kuwait, Egypt, and Yemen had expressed their strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks with missiles and drones that targeted sites in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Iraq, affirming that they pose a serious threat to the security and stability of the region and the safety of its peoples.
