أعلن الجيش الباكستاني، اليوم (الأربعاء)، مقتل 21 مسلحاً خلال عمليات أمنية نُفذت في جنوب غرب البلاد.
وذكر الجيش في بيان، أن قواته نفذت بالتعاون مع قوات الأمن عمليات لتعقب مسلحين، عقب تلقي معلومات استخباراتية دقيقة بشأن مواقع مشبوهة في مقاطعتي «شاغي» و«بشين» بإقليم «بلوشستان»، مشيراً إلى مقتل 21 مسلحاً في اشتباكات اندلعت خلال العمليات.
وأشار الجيش الباكستاني إلى مقتل 6 أمنيين، بينهم ضابطان ومسؤول حكومي من دائرة الجمارك، خلال الاشتباكات مع العناصر المسلحة، مضيفاً أنه جرى ضبط كمية من الأسلحة كانت بحوزة المسلحين.
وتأتي هذه التطورات في ظل بيانات متكررة نشرها الجيش الباكستاني خلال الأيام الأخيرة، أكد فيها مقتل عشرات المسلحين في مناطق شمال وجنوب غرب البلاد.
The Pakistani army announced today (Wednesday) the killing of 21 militants during security operations carried out in the southwest of the country.
The army stated in a statement that its forces, in cooperation with security forces, conducted operations to track down militants after receiving accurate intelligence about suspicious locations in the districts of "Shaghai" and "Pishin" in the province of "Balochistan," noting that 21 militants were killed in clashes that erupted during the operations.
The Pakistani army indicated that 6 security personnel were killed, including two officers and a government official from the customs department, during the clashes with the armed elements, adding that a quantity of weapons was seized from the militants.
These developments come amid repeated statements published by the Pakistani army in recent days, confirming the killing of dozens of militants in areas of northern and southwestern parts of the country.
