عقد الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين ونظيره الصيني شي جين بينغ اليوم (الإثنين)، محادثات في قرغيزستان التي تُعقد فيها قمة لمنظمة شنغهاي للتعاون بالعاصمة بشكيك بحضور نحو عشرة من قادة الدول.
وأعرب الرئيس الصيني عن سعادته بلقاء الرئيس الروسي، موضحاً أن العلاقات الروسية - الصينية أصبحت أكثر صلابة، وأن آفاقها ستكون أكثر إشراقاً.
وحذر الزعيم الصيني من أن النظام الدولي يشهد مستويات أعلى من عدم الاستقرار ومستويات أعلى من التقلبات والأحداث غير القابلة للتنبؤ.
من جهته، أشاد الرئيس الروسي بوتين بتطور التعاون الثنائي مع الصين على الأصعدة كافة.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام عن المتحدث باسم الكرملين دميتري بيسكوف، أن الزعيمين تطرقا خلال محادثاتهما إلى الملف الأوكراني بشكل عابر.
وخلال القمم السابقة لمنظمة شنغهاي، عمد كل من بوتين وشي إلى الترويج لرؤيتهما لعالم متعدد الأقطاب، وإظهار جبهة موحدة في مواجهة الغرب، كما التقى بوتين رئيس الوزراء الهندي ناريندرا مودي.
ومن المتوقع أن يلتقي بوتين أيضاً نظيره الإيراني.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping held talks today (Monday) in Kyrgyzstan, where a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is taking place in the capital Bishkek, attended by around ten leaders of countries.
The Chinese president expressed his happiness at meeting the Russian president, stating that Russian-Chinese relations have become stronger and that their prospects will be brighter.
The Chinese leader warned that the international system is experiencing higher levels of instability and greater fluctuations and unpredictable events.
For his part, President Putin praised the development of bilateral cooperation with China in all areas.
Media reports quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying that the two leaders briefly touched upon the Ukrainian issue during their talks.
During previous Shanghai summits, both Putin and Xi promoted their vision of a multipolar world and demonstrated a united front against the West, and Putin also met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Putin is also expected to meet with his Iranian counterpart.
