جدّد الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون، اليوم (الأحد)، التأكيد على التزام بلاده الكامل بحصرية السلاح بيد الدولة.
وشدّد عون، في بيان بمناسبة مرور 48 عاماً على تغييب الإمام موسى الصدر ورفيقيه الشيخ محمد يعقوب والصحفي عباس بدرالدين، التي تتصادف غداً (الإثنين)، على بسط سلطة الجيش اللبناني على كامل الأراضي اللبنانية، تنفيذاً للقرار 1701 وضماناً لسيادة لبنان الكاملة، تماماً كما كان يطمح الإمام الصدر لدولة تحمي أبناءها ولا تترك جنوبها وحيداً في مواجهة الخطر.
وقال الرئيس اللبناني: «نجدّد العهد بأن ما آمن به الإمام الصدر من وحدة وطنية، ودولة قوية عادلة، وجنوب محميّ بجيشه وقواه الأمنية وبمنعة أهله ومنعة الدولة معاً، سيبقى نبراساً نهتدي به في مسيرة النهوض الوطني التي نعمل جميعاً من أجلها».
ونقلت «الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام» عن عون قوله: «إن السلاح الذي يحمي الأرض هو سلاح الدولة الشرعي وحدها، وإن الأمن مسؤولية وطنية جامعة لا تُختزل بفريق دون آخر».
وأشار عون إلى أن «48 عاماً مرّت على تغييب الإمام موسى الصدر، وما زال ملفه قضية وطنية وإنسانية مفتوحة، وما زلنا، دولةً ومؤسسات، نطالب بكشف كامل الحقيقة عن مصيره ومصير رفيقيه، عملاً بحق الأسر وحق لبنان في معرفة الحقيقة كاملة». وأكد الاستمرار في متابعة هذا الملف على المستويين الثنائي والدولي بكل الوسائل الدبلوماسية والقانونية المتاحة.
The Lebanese President Joseph Aoun reaffirmed today (Sunday) his country's full commitment to the exclusivity of arms in the hands of the state.
Aoun emphasized, in a statement on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the disappearance of Imam Musa al-Sadr and his companions Sheikh Muhammad Yacoub and journalist Abbas Badreddine, which coincides with tomorrow (Monday), the need to extend the authority of the Lebanese army over all Lebanese territories, in implementation of Resolution 1701 and to ensure Lebanon's full sovereignty, just as Imam al-Sadr aspired to a state that protects its citizens and does not leave its south alone in the face of danger.
The Lebanese president stated: “We renew the pledge that what Imam al-Sadr believed in regarding national unity, a strong and just state, and a south protected by its army and security forces, along with the resilience of its people and the resilience of the state together, will remain a guiding light for us in the national revival journey that we all work for.”
The National News Agency quoted Aoun as saying: “The arms that protect the land are the legitimate arms of the state alone, and security is a collective national responsibility that cannot be reduced to one team over another.”
Aoun pointed out that “48 years have passed since the disappearance of Imam Musa al-Sadr, and his case remains an open national and humanitarian issue, and we, as a state and institutions, continue to demand the full truth about his fate and the fate of his companions, in accordance with the right of families and Lebanon's right to know the complete truth.” He confirmed the continuation of following up on this file at both the bilateral and international levels using all available diplomatic and legal means.
