أعلن رئيس الوزراء العراقي علي الزيدي، أن الحكومة لا تملك نية للتصادم العسكري مع الفصائل المسلحة، مشيراً إلى وجود حوار بناء معها بشأن حصر السلاح.
وأشار الزيدي في تصريح، اليوم (الجمعة)، إلى أن هناك فصائل سلمت سلاحها وفكت ارتباطها والتحقت بالحشد الشعبي، فيما تواصل الحكومة الحوار مع فصائل أخرى.
وأكد الزيدي أن جميع القوى السياسية متفقة على المضي في حصر السلاح، وأن العمل جار على آليات تسليمه. وشدد رئيس الوزراء العراقي على أنه لا تراجع عن مكافحة الفساد، مشيراً إلى أن الحكومة تحظى بدعم واسع من القوى السياسية. وقال إن العراق يواجه ظروفاً إقليمية صعبة، وإن إغلاق مضيق هرمز يمثل تحدياً كبيراً.
وكان الزيدي، أفاد أمس (الخميس)، بأن الحكومة ستمضي في تقديم قانون الحشد الشعبي لإقراره، موضحاً أن العراق يشهد اليوم مرحلة بناء بعد إنجاز متطلبات عملية الدفاع عن السيادة.
وذكر المكتب الإعلامي لرئيس الوزراء، في بيان تلقته وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع)، أن الزيدي استقبل رئيس كتلة بدر النيابية همام علي مهدي التميمي وأعضاء الكتلة.
وأضاف البيان أن اللقاء شهد التباحث بشأن الأوضاع العامة في البلد، سياسياً واقتصادياً وأمنياً، وجهود الحكومة في تنفيذ برامجها الإصلاحية والتنموية.
ونوه رئيس الوزراء بالدور المهم للسلطة التشريعية في مجال مكافحة الفساد وملاحقة الفاسدين، مبيناً أن مشروع الحكومة يرتكز على بناء دولة تستند إلى اقتصاد متين، ومشدداً على أهمية إيجاد حلول جذرية للمشكلات برؤية جديدة ومبتكرة، وعدم ترحيلها.
وأوضح الزيدي أن مؤسسة الحشد الشعبي تحظى باهتمام ورعاية الحكومة التي ستمضي في تقديم قانون الحشد لإقراره، بوصفها جزءاً من تشكيلات وصنوف القوات المسلحة، مبيناً أن العراق يشهد اليوم مرحلة بناء بعد إنجاز متطلبات عملية الدفاع عن السيادة.
فيما أعلن النواب دعمهم المطلق للحكومة في جميع خطواتها وإجراءاتها الإصلاحية، لا سيما في مجال مكافحة الفساد وتنظيم السلاح وفقاً للآليات الدستورية.

Al-Zaydi pointed out in a statement today (Friday) that there are factions that have handed over their weapons, severed their ties, and joined the Popular Mobilization Forces, while the government continues dialogue with other factions.
He confirmed that all political forces agree on moving forward with the restriction of weapons and that work is underway on the mechanisms for their handover. The Iraqi Prime Minister emphasized that there is no retreat from combating corruption, noting that the government enjoys broad support from political forces. He stated that Iraq faces difficult regional conditions and that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz represents a significant challenge.
Al-Zaydi had stated yesterday (Thursday) that the government will proceed with presenting the Popular Mobilization Law for approval, explaining that Iraq is currently witnessing a phase of construction after fulfilling the requirements for the defense of sovereignty.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that Al-Zaydi received the head of the Badr parliamentary bloc, Hemam Ali Mahdi Al-Tamimi, and members of the bloc.
The statement added that the meeting discussed the general conditions in the country, politically, economically, and security-wise, as well as the government's efforts to implement its reform and development programs.
The Prime Minister highlighted the important role of the legislative authority in combating corruption and pursuing corrupt individuals, indicating that the government's project is based on building a state that relies on a solid economy, stressing the importance of finding radical solutions to problems with a new and innovative vision, rather than postponing them.
Al-Zaydi clarified that the Popular Mobilization Institution receives the government's attention and care, which will proceed with presenting the law for approval, as it is part of the formations and types of the armed forces, indicating that Iraq is currently witnessing a phase of construction after fulfilling the requirements for the defense of sovereignty.
Meanwhile, the deputies announced their full support for the government in all its steps and reform measures, especially in the area of combating corruption and regulating weapons according to constitutional mechanisms.
