Amid confirmations of the deaths of Revolutionary Guard experts in clashes between the Yemeni army and the Houthi terrorist militia, violent clashes erupted today (Thursday) between the Yemeni armed forces and the Houthi militia in the Al-Barah area west of Taiz governorate.

Military sources told “Okaz” that the government forces carried out precise and focused artillery strikes on Houthi militia positions on the Al-Barah front, and also intercepted a drone.

For his part, the commander of the Al-Barah area, Brigadier General Naaman Al-Fatimi, stated: “We have been able to achieve field results in our confrontation with the Houthi militia on the western coast front,” noting that the Yemeni army surprised the militia with new strategies in combat.

Al-Fatimi confirmed the army's success in thwarting the militia's plans and dealing with their movements and attempts to infiltrate, pointing out that the government forces in Al-Barah taught the Houthis harsh lessons.

Meanwhile, Yemeni media reported information about the transfer of aircraft designated for humanitarian purposes carrying wounded Revolutionary Guard members outside Yemen.

Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels quoted military sources as saying that three foreign experts linked to the Revolutionary Guard were killed in the confrontations in Yemen, one of whom was Iraqi.

The sources indicated that the commander of the third brigade known as the “Al-Fath Brigades” of the Houthis was injured in a drone strike.

In the meantime, Yemeni residents in Sana'a complained about hospitals refusing to accept the bodies of their relatives on the grounds that the morgues were full due to the war.

One Yemeni said, “My brother died due to personal disputes, and given the nature of the case and the need to keep the body in the morgue until the investigation is completed, we were surprised by the refusal of the hospital morgue officials to accept the body, claiming that it was full and that there were Houthi directives to provide morgues for special circumstances related to the militia.”

Meanwhile, a reliable source in Sana'a told “Okaz” that the militia distributed a number of bodies to the morgues of hospitals, especially after the government hospitals, including the military hospital, received the bodies of several dead.

Media reports had confirmed the death of more than 280 Houthis while the militia continues to obscure its losses, limiting itself to secretly burying the dead in their respective areas.

For his part, Sultan Al-Sama'i, a member of the political council of the Houthi militia, acknowledged the imminent fall of the Houthi militia and admitted that the collapse has become inevitable, but he advised his militia to engage in serious dialogue and comprehensive reconciliation and peace to avoid that.

Al-Sama'i's statements come at a time when Houthi leaders hinted at a reluctance and refusal of Yemeni tribes to support his militias, in addition to the flight of a number of tribal fighters who were misled from the fronts, but they attributed this to the corruption of some leaders, while others indirectly hinted that the reasons were due to significant losses and the imbalance of the battle.
