أقرت مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية بمقتل 84 مسلحاً من عناصرها، بينهم 28 قيادياً خلال أسبوع. ووفقاً لما نشرته قناة المسيرة الحوثية، فقد جرى خلال يومين فقط تشييع 47 شخصاً بينهم 14 ضابطاً. وقالت القناة إن الضباط تراوح رتبهم بين عميد وعقيد وضباط برتب أخرى، وجرى تشييعهم في صنعاء وذمار وعمران وحجة وصعدة والمحويت وإب.
في غضون ذلك، ألقت القوات الحكومية في محافظة تعز القبض على عدد من الأسرى الحوثيين وقتلت آخرين خلال الساعات الماضية. وذكر مصدر عسكري أن الجيش اليمني تمكن في تعز والضالع وشبوة من ضرب تحصينات المليشيا بالمدفعية والطائرات المسيّرة وقتل العشرات منهم.
وأوضح المصدر أن المدفعية استهدفت أيضاً تعزيزات للمليشيا الحوثية أثناء تجمعها في جبهة الفاخر غربي قعطبة، استعداداً لشن هجوم على مواقع القوات المسلحة في المنطقة.
من جهة أخرى، شهدت الأحياء المدنية في مديرية المخا غرب تعز هجوماً حوثياً، اليوم (الأربعاء)، وبحسب مصدر عسكري، استهدفت المليشيا ميناء المخا بصاروخين باليستيين مما أدى إلى تضرر رصيف الميناء.
وفي سياق متصل، وجه محافظ شبوة عوض ابن الوزير برفع الجاهزية في كافة القطاعات العسكرية والأمنية إلى مستوى التحديات التي تواجهها المحافظة، بما يضمن سرعة الاستجابة والتعامل الحازم والمسؤول مع مختلف المواقف والمستجدات، مؤكداً أن الأمن مسؤولية متكاملة تتطلب توحيد الجهود وتنسيقها، وذلك بالتزامن مع معارك متقطعة يخوضها الجيش اليمني مع المليشيا الحوثية في المديريات المتاخمة لمحافظة شبوة في محافظتي مأرب والبيضاء.
The Houthi terrorist militia has acknowledged the death of 84 of its militants, including 28 leaders, over the course of a week. According to what was published by the Houthi Al-Masirah channel, 47 individuals were buried in just two days, among them 14 officers. The channel reported that the ranks of the officers varied between brigadier and colonel, along with other ranks, and they were buried in Sana'a, Dhamar, Amran, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Mahwit, and Ibb.
Meanwhile, government forces in Taiz province have captured several Houthi prisoners and killed others in recent hours. A military source stated that the Yemeni army was able to strike the militia's fortifications in Taiz, Al-Dhale, and Shabwa using artillery and drones, killing dozens of them.
The source clarified that the artillery also targeted Houthi reinforcements as they gathered at the Al-Fakher front west of Qatabah, in preparation for launching an attack on the armed forces' positions in the area.
On another note, the civilian neighborhoods in the Al-Mokha district west of Taiz witnessed a Houthi attack today (Wednesday). According to a military source, the militia targeted the Al-Mokha port with two ballistic missiles, resulting in damage to the port's dock.
In a related context, Shabwa Governor Awad bin Al-Wazir has directed the readiness of all military and security sectors to meet the challenges facing the province, ensuring a swift response and a firm and responsible handling of various situations and developments. He emphasized that security is a comprehensive responsibility that requires unifying and coordinating efforts, coinciding with intermittent battles being fought by the Yemeni army against the Houthi militia in the districts adjacent to Shabwa province in the Marib and Al-Bayda provinces.
