فيما أحبط الجيش اليمني هجوماً حوثياً بالصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة على مديرية المخا غرب تعز، استقبلت مستشفيات المخا اليوم (الثلاثاء) جرحى من طاقم سفينة تجارية استهدفتها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية في مضيق باب المندب، من بينهم مصابون يحملون الجنسيتين الباكستانية والإندونيسية.
وأكد مدير دائرة الخدمات الطبية في المقاومة الوطنية الدكتور طارق العزاني أن الكوادر الطبية باشرت تقديم الإسعافات العاجلة وإجراء عمليات جراحية للمصابين فور وصولهم، مشيراً إلى أن الطواقم الطبية تتابع حالتهم الصحية أولاً بأول. ولفت إلى أن المنشآت الصحية في المخا والساحل الغربي رفعت مستوى جاهزيتها للتعامل مع الحالات الطارئة والحوادث البحرية في ظل ارتفاع منسوب الاعتداءات الحوثية.

بدورها، دانت وزارة النقل اليمنية بأشد العبارات الجريمة الإرهابية التي ارتكبتها مليشيا الحوثي، باستهداف السفينة التجارية اليمنية «تهامة» بثلاث ضربات متتالية بصواريخ باليستية، أثناء إبحارها في مضيق باب المندب، في اعتداء إجرامي جديد يضاف إلى سجل الانتهاكات الحوثية التي تهدد أمن وسلامة الملاحة البحرية والتجارة الدولية.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن الهجوم الحوثي على السفينة، التي تحمل على متنها مواد غذائية، أدى إلى اندلاع النيران على متنها، وسقوط 4 قتلى من أفراد طاقمها، (3 من الجنسية الباكستانية وبحار إندونيسي)، وإصابة أربعة آخرين، إضافة إلى إصابة أحد أفراد فريق الإنقاذ. كما أسفر الهجوم عن أضرار مادية لحقت بالسفينة.

وأفادت الوزارة أنه وأثناء محاولة فرق الإنقاذ الوصول إلى طاقم السفينة وإجلاء المصابين، أطلقت مليشيا الحوثي صاروخاً آخر باتجاه السفينة، في محاولة لإفشال عملية الإنقاذ وتعريض حياة جميع من كانوا على متنها، بمن فيهم فرق الإنقاذ، للقتل، في سلوك إجرامي يكشف تعمد المليشيا مضاعفة الخسائر البشرية ومنع إنقاذ الضحايا والمصابين.
وذكرت الوزارة أن استهداف السفينة التجارية «تهامة» في مضيق باب المندب يكشف بوضوح عن نهج تصعيدي لمليشيا الحوثي، ويسعى إلى توسيع دائرة تهديداتها لتشمل الموانئ والمنشآت المدنية في المناطق المحررة، والسفن التجارية الواصلة إليها، بما يشكل خطراً مباشراً على الإمدادات الغذائية والسلع الاستهلاكية لملايين اليمنيين، سواء في المناطق المحررة أو الخاضعة بالقوة لسيطرة المليشيا.

وقالت الوزارة إن هذه الجريمة تعكس مجدداً الإرهاب البحري للمليشيا واستهتارها بأرواح المدنيين والبحارة، واستخفافها بالقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني والقواعد والاتفاقيات المنظمة لسلامة وأمن الملاحة البحرية، مبينة أن استهداف السفن التجارية المدنية والموانئ والمنشآت المرتبطة بالنقل البحري يمثل انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي والاتفاقيات والقواعد الدولية المنظمة لسلامة وأمن الملاحة البحرية، ولا يمكن التعامل معه باعتباره حادثاً منفرداً أو عابراً، بل باعتباره تهديداً منظماً للأمن البحري الإقليمي والدولي وحرية الملاحة في أحد أهم الممرات البحرية الإستراتيجية في العالم.
وحمّلت وزارة النقل اليمنية مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية المسؤولية الكاملة عن أرواح الضحايا والإصابات والأضرار التي لحقت بالسفينة التجارية «تهامة»، وعن التداعيات الخطيرة الناجمة عن هذه الاعتداءات، مؤكدة أن استهداف الممرات البحرية والسفن التجارية لا يهدد اليمنيين وحدهم، وإنما يمس أمن الملاحة الدولية ومصالح التجارة العالمية وحركة الإمدادات في المنطقة والعالم.
ودعت الوزارة المجتمع الدولي والمنظمات والهيئات الدولية المعنية بالنقل البحري والملاحة الدولية إلى اتخاذ موقف حازم ومسؤول تجاه هذه الاعتداءات الإرهابية المتكررة، والعمل بصورة عاجلة على اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لضمان حرية الملاحة وسلامة أطقم السفن والعاملين في القطاع البحري في البحر الأحمر وباب المندب وخليج عدن، باعتبار الأمن الجماعي مسؤولية الجميع.
وجددت الوزارة دعوتها إلى عدم السماح بتحويل الممرات البحرية الدولية إلى ساحات للتهديد والاستهداف، أو تعريض حياة البحارة والعاملين في القطاع البحري للخطر، أو استخدام المنشآت المدنية والموانئ التجارية أهدافاً في الأعمال العدائية، موضحة أنها تواصل جهودها بالتنسيق مع الشركاء الدوليين والجهات الدولية المعنية لاتخاذ التدابير والإجراءات اللازمة لتعزيز سلامة وأمن الملاحة البحرية وحماية السفن التجارية والموانئ والمنشآت المدنية.
في غضون ذلك، اعتدت مليشيا الحوثي اليوم بالصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة على مواقع متفرقة بالساحل الغربي لليمن، في تصعيد لليوم الثالث على التوالي. وأكدت مصادر عسكرية يمنية تمكن قوات الجيش من تدمير مسيرة مفخخة بعد هجوم بـ 10 صواريخ و4 مسيرات استهدفت مواقع متفرقة في الساحل الغربي.
While the Yemeni army thwarted a Houthi attack with missiles and drones on the Al-Mokha district west of Taiz, hospitals in Al-Mokha today (Tuesday) received injured crew members from a commercial ship targeted by the Houthi terrorist militia in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, including injured individuals holding Pakistani and Indonesian nationalities.
Dr. Tarek Al-Izani, Director of the Medical Services Department in the National Resistance, confirmed that medical staff began providing urgent first aid and performing surgeries for the injured upon their arrival, noting that the medical teams are continuously monitoring their health conditions. He pointed out that health facilities in Al-Mokha and the western coast have raised their readiness levels to deal with emergency cases and maritime incidents in light of the increasing Houthi attacks.

For its part, the Yemeni Ministry of Transport condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist crime committed by the Houthi militia, targeting the Yemeni commercial ship "Tihama" with three consecutive strikes using ballistic missiles while it was sailing in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, in a new criminal assault added to the record of Houthi violations that threaten the security and safety of maritime navigation and international trade.
The ministry explained that the Houthi attack on the ship, which was carrying food supplies, led to a fire breaking out on board, resulting in the deaths of four crew members (three of Pakistani nationality and one Indonesian sailor) and injuring four others, in addition to injuring one member of the rescue team. The attack also caused material damage to the ship.

The ministry reported that while rescue teams were attempting to reach the ship's crew and evacuate the injured, the Houthi militia fired another missile at the ship, in an attempt to thwart the rescue operation and endanger the lives of everyone on board, including the rescue teams, in a criminal act that reveals the militia's intent to increase human losses and prevent the rescue of victims and the injured.
The ministry stated that the targeting of the commercial ship "Tihama" in the Bab al-Mandab Strait clearly reveals an escalatory approach by the Houthi militia, aiming to expand its threats to include ports and civilian facilities in the liberated areas, as well as the commercial ships reaching them, posing a direct danger to food supplies and consumer goods for millions of Yemenis, whether in the liberated areas or those forcibly under militia control.

The ministry emphasized that this crime once again reflects the militia's maritime terrorism and its disregard for the lives of civilians and sailors, as well as its contempt for international law, humanitarian law, and the rules and agreements governing the safety and security of maritime navigation, indicating that targeting civilian commercial ships, ports, and facilities related to maritime transport represents a blatant violation of international law and the agreements and international rules governing the safety and security of maritime navigation, and cannot be treated as an isolated or transient incident, but rather as an organized threat to regional and international maritime security and freedom of navigation in one of the world's most important strategic maritime corridors.
The Yemeni Ministry of Transport held the Houthi terrorist militia fully responsible for the lives of the victims, injuries, and damages sustained by the commercial ship "Tihama," and for the serious repercussions resulting from these assaults, affirming that targeting maritime routes and commercial ships does not only threaten Yemenis but also affects the security of international navigation and the interests of global trade and supply movements in the region and the world.
The ministry called on the international community and relevant international organizations and bodies concerned with maritime transport and international navigation to take a firm and responsible stance towards these repeated terrorist assaults, and to urgently work on taking the necessary measures to ensure freedom of navigation and the safety of ship crews and workers in the maritime sector in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and the Gulf of Aden, considering collective security a responsibility for all.
The ministry reiterated its call to prevent the transformation of international maritime routes into arenas for threats and targeting, or endangering the lives of sailors and workers in the maritime sector, or using civilian facilities and commercial ports as targets in hostile actions, clarifying that it continues its efforts in coordination with international partners and relevant international bodies to take the necessary measures and actions to enhance the safety and security of maritime navigation and protect commercial ships, ports, and civilian facilities.
Meanwhile, the Houthi militia today launched missiles and drones at various sites along the western coast of Yemen, escalating for the third consecutive day. Yemeni military sources confirmed that army forces managed to destroy a booby-trapped drone after an attack involving 10 missiles and 4 drones targeted various sites in the western coast.
