أدانت مصر بأشد العبارات الهجوم الصاروخي الذي استهدف المملكة العربية السعودية، مؤكدة أن الاعتداء يمثل تصعيداً خطيراً يهدد أمن المملكة وسلامة أراضيها، ويقوض الجهود الإقليمية والدولية الرامية إلى خفض التوتر والحفاظ على الاستقرار في المنطقة.
وذكرت وزارة الخارجية المصرية، في بيان، أن القاهرة ترفض بشكل قاطع جميع الهجمات التي تستهدف أمن وسيادة المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة أو تمس أمن واستقرار دول المنطقة، مجددة تضامنها الكامل ووقوفها إلى جانب المملكة في مواجهة كل ما يهدد أمنها وسلامة أراضيها.
وأوضحت مصر أن استمرار مثل هذه الاعتداءات من شأنه زيادة حدة التوتر في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، مشددة على أهمية تكثيف الجهود الرامية إلى احتواء التصعيد والحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي.
وفي وقت سابق أعلن اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، المتحدث باسم وزارة الدفاع السعودية، أن الدفاعات الجوية تعاملت مع تهديد بصواريخ باليستية أطلقتها الميليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية باتجاه المنطقة الجنوبية.
Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the missile attack targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming that the aggression represents a serious escalation that threatens the security of the Kingdom and the safety of its territories, undermining regional and international efforts aimed at reducing tension and maintaining stability in the region.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that Cairo firmly rejects all attacks targeting the security and sovereignty of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or that affect the security and stability of the countries in the region, reiterating its full solidarity and support for the Kingdom in facing any threats to its security and the safety of its territories.
Egypt clarified that the continuation of such aggressions would increase the level of tension in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of intensifying efforts aimed at containing the escalation and maintaining regional security and stability.
Earlier, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, announced that air defenses dealt with a threat from ballistic missiles launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards the southern region.
