Egypt has undertaken an intensive diplomatic move following the recent Iranian attacks that targeted several Arab countries, as Foreign Minister and Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdel Aty, conducted a series of phone calls with his counterparts in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain to discuss the developments and repercussions of the attacks, and to affirm Cairo's full solidarity with the brotherly Arab countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the Egyptian minister made calls to Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Sheikh Jraih Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, and Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The calls addressed the latest developments regarding the Iranian attacks, ensuring the safety of citizens, and the measures taken by the three countries to deal with the repercussions of the attacks and contain their effects.

During the calls, Abdel Aty confirmed Egypt's complete solidarity with Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain, emphasizing Cairo's firm rejection of any aggression targeting the security of the brotherly Arab countries or affecting their sovereignty or threatening the safety and stability of their peoples.

The Foreign Minister also stressed Egypt's support for the three countries and its full backing for all measures they take to protect their security and sovereignty, affirming that the fraternal ties and the unity of Arab destiny impose a unified stance in the face of the security challenges facing the region.

The minister confirmed that the security of the brotherly Arab countries is an integral part of Egyptian national security, reflecting the constants of Egyptian foreign policy based on supporting the stability of Arab countries and preserving their security and sovereignty.

The Egyptian moves come amid escalating security tensions in the Middle East, following Iranian attacks on several Arab countries, which has sparked a wave of regional and international condemnations, amid fears of the escalation's widening and its implications for the region's security.

In recent months, Cairo has intensified its consultations and communications with Arab and international capitals to support efforts to contain crises in the region and push towards political and diplomatic solutions, based on its conviction that dialogue and respect for the rules of international law represent the best way to maintain regional security and stability, and to prevent the region from slipping into further confrontations.
