اعتمد اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي لكرة القدم اليوم قائمة الأندية المشاركة في النسخة الثالثة من دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية لموسم 2026-2027، التي ستنطلق منافساتها في 13 أكتوبر القادم، وتستمر حتى 30 أبريل 2027، بمشاركة 12 نادياً تمثل الاتحادات الوطنية الأعضاء.
وتشهد النسخة الثالثة أكبر مشاركة في تاريخ البطولة منذ انطلاقتها، بعد قرار زيادة عدد الأندية من 8 إلى 12، ما يعكس تطور المنافسة وتوسع قاعدة المشاركة بين الاتحادات الأعضاء، بما يسهم في رفع المستوى التنافسي وتعزيز مكانة المسابقة على مستوى المنطقة.
وجرى اختيار الأندية المشاركة وفقاً للوائح البطولة، واستناداً إلى نتائجها في مسابقات الدوري المحلية، إلى جانب تصنيف الاتحادات الوطنية في الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم للأندية للموسم 2026-2027. وبناءً على ذلك، حصلت اتحادات السعودية والإمارات وقطر والعراق على مقعدين لكل منها، فيما تم منح كل من سلطنة عُمان والبحرين والكويت واليمن مقعداً واحداً لكل اتحاد.
وضمت قائمة الأندية المشاركة في النسخة القادمة من البطولة: الاتفاق ونيوم من السعودية، النصر وعجمان من الإمارات، الدحيل ونادي قطر من قطر، أربيل والزوراء من العراق، إضافة إلى الشباب العماني، والرفاع البحريني وكاظمة الكويتي وشعب حضرموت اليمني.
ويهدف الإعلان عن قائمة الأندية المشاركة في هذا التوقيت إلى إتاحة الوقت الكافي لاستكمال الاستعدادات الفنية والتنظيمية قبل انطلاق منافسات الدوري، بما يعزز جاهزية الفرق ويسهم في رفع جودة المنافسة.
وكان اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي لكرة القدم قد اعتمد زيادة عدد الأندية المشاركة في البطولة اعتباراً من النسخة الثالثة، وتم تحديد تاريخ 9 سبتمبر القادم موعداً لإجراء مراسم قرعة الدوري.
يذكر أن نادي دهوك العراقي توج بلقب النسخة الأولى من البطولة، فيما أحرز نادي الريان القطري لقب النسخة الثانية.
The Arabian Gulf Cup Football Union today approved the list of clubs participating in the third edition of the Gulf Champions League for the 2026-2027 season, which will kick off its competitions on October 13, and continue until April 30, 2027, with the participation of 12 clubs representing the member national federations.
This third edition witnesses the largest participation in the history of the tournament since its inception, following the decision to increase the number of clubs from 8 to 12, reflecting the development of competition and the expansion of the participation base among the member federations, which contributes to raising the competitive level and enhancing the status of the tournament at the regional level.
The participating clubs were selected according to the tournament regulations, based on their results in local league competitions, in addition to the classification of national federations in the Asian Football Confederation for clubs for the 2026-2027 season. Accordingly, the federations of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Iraq received two slots each, while each of Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Yemen was granted one slot per federation.
The list of clubs participating in the upcoming edition of the tournament includes: Al-Ettifaq and Neom from Saudi Arabia, Al-Nassr and Ajman from the UAE, Al-Duhail and Qatar SC from Qatar, Erbil and Al-Zawraa from Iraq, in addition to Al-Shabab from Oman, Al-Riffa from Bahrain, Al-Qadsiah from Kuwait, and Al-Shaab Hadramout from Yemen.
The announcement of the list of participating clubs at this time aims to provide sufficient time to complete the technical and organizational preparations before the league competitions begin, which enhances the teams' readiness and contributes to raising the quality of competition.
The Arabian Gulf Cup Football Union had approved the increase in the number of clubs participating in the tournament starting from the third edition, and September 9 has been set as the date for the league draw ceremony.
It is worth mentioning that Duhok SC from Iraq won the title of the first edition of the tournament, while Al-Rayyan SC from Qatar won the title of the second edition.
