توفيت إيمان، ابنة الفنان المصري الراحل وحيد سيف وشقيقة الفنان أشرف سيف، بعد بقائها في غيبوبة كاملة لمدة 73 يوماً، لتنتهي رحلة معاناة أثارت تعاطف متابعي الأسرة خلال الأسابيع الماضية.
وأعلن أشرف سيف نبأ الوفاة عبر حسابه على «فيسبوك»، حيث ودّع شقيقته بكلمات مؤثرة، قائلاً: «بعد 73 يوماً في غيبوبة كاملة.. رحلت حبيبتي ونور عيني وتوأم روحي وأختي الغالية إيمان»، واصفاً إياها بأنها كانت من أطيب الأشخاص وأكثرهم نقاءً.
وكان أشرف سيف قد حرص طوال فترة مرض شقيقته على مناشدة محبيه ومتابعيه الدعاء لها، أملاً في تحسن حالتها الصحية، قبل أن يعلن خبر وفاتها.
ومن المقرر أن تُشيّع جنازة الراحلة ظهر اليوم (الخميس) من مسجد الحصري بمدينة السادس من أكتوبر، على أن تُوارى الثرى في مدافن الأسرة بطريق الواحات، فيما يُقام العزاء مساء السبت القادم.
ويأتي رحيل إيمان بعد أيام قليلة من وفاة عمها الرسام سمير سيف، الذي فارق الحياة أثناء وجودها في المستشفى، في وقت كانت لا تزال ترقد فيه تحت تأثير الغيبوبة.
Iman, the daughter of the late Egyptian artist Wahid Saif and sister of artist Ashraf Saif, passed away after being in a complete coma for 73 days, ending a journey of suffering that garnered the sympathy of the family's followers over the past weeks.
Ashraf Saif announced the news of her death via his Facebook account, bidding farewell to his sister with touching words, saying: "After 73 days in a complete coma... my beloved, the light of my eyes, my soulmate, and my dear sister Iman has departed," describing her as one of the kindest and purest people.
Ashraf Saif had been keen throughout his sister's illness to urge his loved ones and followers to pray for her, hoping for an improvement in her health condition, before announcing the news of her passing.
The funeral for the deceased is scheduled to take place today (Thursday) from Al-Hosary Mosque in the Sixth of October City, with her burial in the family cemetery on the Wahat Road, while the condolence gathering will be held next Saturday evening.
Iman's passing comes just a few days after the death of her uncle, the painter Samir Saif, who passed away while she was in the hospital, at a time when she was still under the influence of the coma.
