في خطوة تنموية جديدة تعكس عمق الدعم السعودي المستمر لليمن والنهوض بمؤسساته، دشن محافظ أرخبيل سقطرى المهندس رأفت الثقلي، وبحضور مدير مكتب البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في المحافظة محمد اليحياء، أنشطة مشروع «التمكين الرقمي للمعلم اليمني»، الذي يأتي بدعم من البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن، وبالشراكة مع مركز «المبدعون» للدراسات والتدريب بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز.
وشهدت فعاليات التدشين مشاركة رفيعة المستوى عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي، تقدمها وكيل وزارة التربية والتعليم لقطاع التدريب والتأهيل الدكتور زيد محمد قحطان، وممثل مركز «المبدعون» للبحوث والدراسات الاستشارية بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز الدكتورة نجمة الزهراني، إلى جانب حضور لافت للمتدربين والمتدربات المستهدفين من كافة المحافظات اليمنية المحررة، والذين يعول عليهم في نقل هذه التجربة الرقمية إلى الحقل التربوي.
تأهيل الكفاءات بـ5 محافظات
ويستهدف المشروع في مساره التنموي تعزيز مهارات وقدرات 500 معلم ومعلمة موزعين على جغرافيا خمس محافظات يمنية حيوية هي: (عدن، وأبين، وحضرموت الوادي والساحل، والمهرة، وسقطرى)، إذ يركز البرنامج على إكساب المشاركين مهارات التعامل مع التقنيات الرقمية الحديثة، بما يضمن رفع كفاءتهم المهنية والمسلكية، والارتقاء بجودة المخرجات التعليمية داخل الفصول الدراسية.

وسيسهم المشروع بشكل مباشر في إحداث نقلة نوعية في الأداء التدريسي من خلال برنامج تأهيلي مكثف يعتمد على التعليم «الهجين» الذي يدمج بين التدريب الحضوري المباشر والاتصال المرئي، وهو ما يتيح للكوادر التعليمية مرونة عالية في استيعاب المادة المعرفية، وتمكينهم من توظيف أدوات التكنولوجيا المعاصرة لخدمة المناهج والطلاب على حد سواء.
مساران لمواكبة طفرة الذكاء الاصطناعي
ويتضمن البرنامج التدريبي مسارين إستراتيجيين جرى تصميمهما بعناية لمواكبة متطلبات العصر؛ حيث يركز المسار الأول على «الذكاء الاصطناعي وتوليد المحتوى التخصصي» لتعزيز قدرات المعلمين على الاستفادة من تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في ابتكار دروسهم، فيما يعنى المسار الثاني بـ«التصميم التعليمي الرقمي» الذي يهدف إلى تمكين المشاركين من إنتاج محتوى تعليمي رقمي وتفاعلي يواكب أحدث الممارسات التربوية العالمية.

استثمار سعودي مستدام في الإنسان
ويأتي هذا الحراك التنموي امتداداً لجهود المملكة العربية السعودية المستمرة عبر ذراعها الإنسانية والتنموية «البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن» في دعم قطاع التعليم وبناء القدرات البشرية في المحافظات اليمنية، عبر حزمة من المشاريع والمبادرات المستدامة التي تهدف إلى تطوير الكفاءات الوطنية، وتأهيل البنية التحتية لمواكبة قطار التحول الرقمي والتقني الشامل.
وتتكامل هذه المبادرة مع سلسلة من المشاريع الحيوية التي يقودها البرنامج لدعم قطاعات التعليم العام والعالي والتدريب الفني والمهني في اليمن، والتي تشمل بناء وتجهيز المدارس والمدن النموذجية، وتحديث المنشآت الجامعية، وإنشاء المعاهد المتخصصة، لضمان بيئة تعليمية متكاملة تسهم في استعادة عافية قطاع التعليم وبناء مستقبل الأجيال.
يُشار إلى أن البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن نجح منذ تأسيسه في تقديم 287 مشروعاً ومبادرة تنموية مستدامة، لامست الاحتياجات الحقيقية للشعب اليمني في 8 قطاعات أساسية، شملت: التعليم، والصحة، والطاقة، والمياه، والنقل، والزراعة والثروة السمكية، بالإضافة إلى بناء قدرات ومؤسسات الحكومة اليمنية.
In a new developmental step that reflects the depth of ongoing Saudi support for Yemen and the advancement of its institutions, the Governor of Socotra Archipelago, Engineer Raafat Al-Thaqli, launched the activities of the project "Digital Empowerment for the Yemeni Teacher," with the presence of the Director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in the governorate, Mohammed Al-Yahya. This project is supported by the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, in partnership with the "Creative" Center for Studies and Training at King Abdulaziz University.
The launch event witnessed high-level participation via video conferencing, led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Training and Rehabilitation, Dr. Zaid Mohammed Qahtan, and the representative of the "Creative" Center for Research and Consulting Studies at King Abdulaziz University, Dr. Najma Al-Zahrani. There was also a notable presence of trainees targeted from all liberated Yemeni governorates, who are relied upon to transfer this digital experience to the educational field.
Empowering Competencies in 5 Governorates
The project aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of 500 male and female teachers distributed across the geography of five vital Yemeni governorates: (Aden, Abyan, Hadramaut Valley and Coast, Al-Mahra, and Socotra). The program focuses on equipping participants with skills to deal with modern digital technologies, ensuring the improvement of their professional and behavioral competencies, and elevating the quality of educational outputs within classrooms.

The project will directly contribute to a qualitative shift in teaching performance through an intensive rehabilitation program that relies on "hybrid" learning, which combines direct in-person training and video communication. This allows educational staff high flexibility in absorbing knowledge material and enables them to utilize contemporary technological tools to serve both curricula and students alike.
Two Tracks to Keep Up with the AI Boom
The training program includes two strategic tracks that have been carefully designed to meet the requirements of the era; the first track focuses on "Artificial Intelligence and Specialized Content Generation" to enhance teachers' abilities to benefit from AI applications in innovating their lessons, while the second track is concerned with "Digital Instructional Design," which aims to empower participants to produce interactive digital educational content that aligns with the latest global educational practices.

Sustainable Saudi Investment in People
This developmental movement is an extension of the continuous efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian and developmental arm, the "Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen," in supporting the education sector and building human capacities in Yemeni governorates, through a package of sustainable projects and initiatives aimed at developing national competencies and rehabilitating infrastructure to keep pace with the comprehensive digital and technological transformation.
This initiative complements a series of vital projects led by the program to support the sectors of general and higher education, as well as technical and vocational training in Yemen, which include building and equipping schools and model cities, updating university facilities, and establishing specialized institutes to ensure a comprehensive educational environment that contributes to restoring the vitality of the education sector and building the future of generations.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has successfully provided 287 sustainable developmental projects and initiatives since its establishment, addressing the real needs of the Yemeni people in 8 essential sectors, including: education, health, energy, water, transport, agriculture and fisheries, in addition to building the capacities and institutions of the Yemeni government.
