ذكرت صحيفة (فايننشال تايمز) أن إيران تبحث سيناريوهات محتملة للرد على أي تصعيد عسكري جديد قد تقوده الولايات المتحدة ضدها، بما في ذلك استهداف مصالح ومنشآت عسكرية أمريكية في جنوب شرق أوروبا، في حال قرر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب توسيع نطاق المواجهة مع طهران.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن أشخاص مطلعين على دوائر صُنع القرار في النظام الإيراني أن القوات الإيرانية درست مجموعة من الخيارات التي يمكن استخدامها لرفع كلفة أي هجوم أمريكي محتمل، مشيرة إلى أن بعض هذه السيناريوهات يتجاوز منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
بلغاريا وقبرص ضمن الحسابات
وبحسب التقرير، شملت التقييمات الإيرانية مواقع عسكرية أمريكية في جنوب شرق أوروبا؛ من بينها منشآت في بلغاريا، بعدما سمحت صوفيا، مؤخرًا، لطائرات أمريكية مخصصة لإعادة التزود بالوقود بالعمل انطلاقًا من قاعدة (بيزمير) الجوية، الأمر الذي قد يزيد من أهميتها الاستراتيجية بالنسبة للولايات المتحدة.
كما تدرس طهران، وفق أحد الأشخاص المطلعين على مداولات القيادة الإيرانية، إمكانية استهداف مواقع في قبرص إذا قررت واشنطن شنّ عملية عسكرية جديدة واسعة ضد إيران.
وتستضيف قبرص منشآت عسكرية بريطانية، كان أحدها هدفًا لهجوم بطائرة مسيرة في وقت سابق من العام الجاري.
كابلات الاتصالات تحت المياه
ولا تقتصر السيناريوهات التي تبحثها إيران على المنشآت العسكرية، إذ تشير المعلومات إلى أن المخططين الإيرانيين درسوا أيضًا سبل تعطيل كابلات الألياف الضوئية البحرية التي تمر عبر مضيق هرمز.
ويُعد المضيق أحد أهم الممرات البحرية في العالم، وتعتمد عليه حركة واسعة من التجارة والطاقة، فيما تمر عبره أيضًا بنية تحتية للاتصالات يمكن أن تتأثر بشدة في حال تعرض الكابلات البحرية لأضرار.
طهران تربط الردَّ بحجم الهجوم الأمريكي
وتأتي هذه الاستعدادات في وقت تدرس فيه إيران كيفية زيادة كلفة أي تدخل أمريكي إضافي، وسط تأكيد مصادر مطلعة أن طبيعة الرد الإيراني وحجمه سيعتمدان بدرجة كبيرة على مستوى التحرك الذي ستقدم عليه واشنطن.
وبحسب التقرير، تعمل طهران على إعداد خيارات لتوسيع نطاق المواجهة إذا نفذ ترمب تهديدات سابقة بضرب منشآت إيرانية، خصوصًا في ظل التوتر المرتبط بالهجمات على الملاحة في مضيق هرمز.
كما أشار مصدر آخر إلى أن إيران قد توسع نطاق ردها إلى خارج الشرق الأوسط إذا واجهت هجومًا أمريكيًا جديدًا واسع النطاق.
تصعيد محتمل يتجاوز الشرق الأوسط
وتعكس هذه التقديرات الإيرانية؛ وفق المصادر التي استند إليها التقرير، استعداد طهران لسيناريو أكثر اتساعًا للصراع، بحيث لا تقتصر تداعياته على القواعد والمصالح الأمريكية في المنطقة.
ومع ذلك، شددت المصادر على أن الخيارات المطروحة لا تعني بالضرورة اتخاذ قرار بتنفيذها، إذ يبقى استخدامها مرتبطًا بتطورات المواجهة وبطبيعة أي تحرُّك عسكري أمريكي مقبل.
The Financial Times reported that Iran is exploring potential scenarios for responding to any new military escalation that the United States may lead against it, including targeting American interests and military facilities in Southeast Europe, should President Donald Trump decide to expand the confrontation with Tehran.
The newspaper quoted sources familiar with decision-making circles in the Iranian regime as saying that Iranian forces have studied a range of options that could be used to raise the cost of any potential American attack, noting that some of these scenarios extend beyond the Middle East.
Bulgaria and Cyprus in the Calculations
According to the report, Iranian assessments included American military sites in Southeast Europe, including facilities in Bulgaria, after Sofia recently allowed American refueling aircraft to operate from the Bezmer Air Base, which could increase its strategic importance for the United States.
Tehran is also considering, according to one source familiar with Iranian leadership discussions, the possibility of targeting sites in Cyprus if Washington decides to launch a new large-scale military operation against Iran.
Cyprus hosts British military facilities, one of which was the target of a drone attack earlier this year.
Undersea Communication Cables
The scenarios being considered by Iran are not limited to military facilities, as information indicates that Iranian planners have also studied ways to disrupt undersea fiber optic cables that pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
The strait is one of the most important maritime passages in the world, supporting a vast amount of trade and energy movement, while also housing communication infrastructure that could be severely affected if the undersea cables are damaged.
Tehran Links Response to Size of American Attack

Another source indicated that Iran might expand the scope of its response beyond the Middle East if it faces a new large-scale American attack.
