شهدت الساعات الماضية أول تصعيد بين إيران وأمريكا منذ توقيع مذكرة التفاهم بين الطرفين في سويسرا.
واتهمت واشنطن طهران بمهاجمة إحدى سفنها التجارية في مضيق هرمز ما استدعى رداً أمريكياً على شكل ضربات لأهداف عدة، وتبعه رد إيراني بمهاجمة مواقع أمريكية، وفق ما أفادت وسائل إعلام رسمية إيرانية.
واعتبرت إيران، اليوم السبت، أن الضربات التي نفذتها الولايات المتحدة الجمعة ضد أراضيها تشكل انتهاكاً صارخاً لمذكرة التفاهم المبرمة بين البلدين والهادفة إلى إنهاء الحرب في الشرق الأوسط.
واعتبرت الخارجية الإيرانية أن هذه الضربات «تشكل انتهاكاً صارخاً للفقرة الرابعة من المادة الثانية من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وانتهاكاً صارخاً للفقرة الأولى من مذكرة التفاهم» التي جرى التوصل إليها مع الولايات المتحدة في منتصف يونيو.
يذكر أن تبادل إطلاق النار يعد الأول من نوعه منذ توقيع مذكرة التفاهم بين واشنطن وطهران في 17 يونيو. وقد أثار ذلك تساؤلات حول الجهود المبذولة لإبقاء الممر المائي الحيوي مفتوحاً في ظل مفاوضات واشنطن وطهران للتوصل إلى تسوية نهائية للحرب التي بدأت في 28 فبراير بضربات أمريكية وإسرائيلية على إيران.
وقالت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية «سنتكوم» CENTCOM إن الضربات الأمريكية الأخيرة التي استهدفت مواقع لتخزين الصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة الإيرانية ومواقع رادار ساحلية، جاءت رداً على «العدوان غير المبرر ضد الشحن التجاري من جانب القوات الإيرانية انتهك بوضوح وقف إطلاق النار».
ووصفت القيادة العملية بأنها «رد قوي على هجوم أمس الذي استهدف سفينة تجارية كانت تعبر مضيق هرمز».
وندّد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في وقت سابق بما وصفه بضربة نفذتها مسيّرة إيرانية على السفينة، معتبراً ذلك «انتهاكاً أخرق» للتفاهم بين البلدين.
فيما حذّر نائب الرئيس جي دي فانس من خلال منشور على منصة «إكس»، من أن «العنف سيُقابل بالعنف» إذا نفّذت إيران أيّ هجمات أخرى.
وأفاد التلفزيون الإيراني الرسمي، بسماع دوي انفجار في وقت متأخر من مساء الجمعة في رصيف طهراوي. ونقل عن مصدر عسكري مطلع قوله إن الانفجار نجم عن سقوط مقذوف في المنطقة.
وذكرت وكالة أنباء مهر عقب الانفجار بأن «ميناء سيريك يعمل بشكل طبيعي، ولم ترد أنباء عن وقوع أي أضرار في معداته أو منشآته».
وأفاد التلفزيون الإيراني بأن الحرس الثوري أعلن استهدافه مواقع أمريكية رداً على الضربات الأمريكية.
وقال الحرس الثوري وفق منشور على التلفزيون الرسمي على تطبيق تلغرام «إذا تكرر العدوان، فسيكون ردّنا أوسع نطاقاً».
من جانبه، حذّر رئيس الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية رافائيل غروسي من أن أي تسوية نهائية بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران ستتطلب ضمانات قوية لضمان عدم امتلاك طهران سلاحاً نووياً.
وبموجب مذكرة التفاهم، اتفق البلدان على «تسوية مسألة التخلص من المواد المخصبة المخزنة، وذلك باتباع آلية يتم الاتفاق عليها بين الطرفين على أن يكون الحد الأدنى من الآلية هو تخفيف درجة تخصيب اليورانيوم في الموقع تحت إشراف الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية»، في إشارة إلى 440 كيلوغراماً من اليورانيوم المخصّب عند مستوى 60%.
The past few hours have witnessed the first escalation between Iran and the United States since the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the two parties in Switzerland.
Washington accused Tehran of attacking one of its commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz, which prompted an American response in the form of strikes on several targets, followed by an Iranian response attacking American sites, according to Iranian state media.
Iran considered, today Saturday, that the strikes carried out by the United States on Friday against its territory constitute a blatant violation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries aimed at ending the war in the Middle East.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that these strikes "constitute a blatant violation of paragraph four of Article Two of the United Nations Charter, and a blatant violation of paragraph one of the memorandum of understanding" reached with the United States in mid-June.
It is noteworthy that the exchange of fire is the first of its kind since the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran on June 17. This has raised questions about the efforts being made to keep the vital waterway open amid negotiations between Washington and Tehran to reach a final settlement for the war that began on February 28 with American and Israeli strikes on Iran.
The U.S. Central Command "CENTCOM" stated that the recent American strikes targeting Iranian missile and drone storage sites and coastal radar sites came in response to "the unprovoked aggression against commercial shipping by Iranian forces that clearly violated the ceasefire."
The command described the operation as "a strong response to yesterday's attack that targeted a commercial ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz."
Earlier, President Donald Trump condemned what he described as a strike carried out by an Iranian drone on the ship, considering it "a clumsy violation" of the understanding between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Vice President J.D. Vance warned through a post on the "X" platform that "violence will be met with violence" if Iran carries out any further attacks.
The Iranian state television reported hearing an explosion late Friday night at a Tehran dock. It quoted a knowledgeable military source as saying that the explosion resulted from a projectile falling in the area.
The Mehr news agency reported after the explosion that "Sirik Port is operating normally, and there have been no reports of any damage to its equipment or facilities."
The Iranian television reported that the Revolutionary Guard announced it targeted American sites in response to the American strikes.
The Revolutionary Guard stated according to a post on the official television on the Telegram application, "If the aggression is repeated, our response will be broader in scope."
For his part, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, warned that any final settlement between the United States and Iran would require strong guarantees to ensure that Tehran does not possess nuclear weapons.
Under the memorandum of understanding, the two countries agreed to "settle the issue of disposing of stored enriched materials, following a mechanism to be agreed upon by both parties, with the minimum of the mechanism being to reduce the level of uranium enrichment at the site under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency," referring to 440 kilograms of uranium enriched to a level of 60%.
